- FLOOD PONY RESCUE UPDATE
We are delighted to tell you that at 4am this morning the last of 10 ponies arrived on foot from Urmston after she'd battled through the flooded Mile Road. They are all safe and well π
There will be no charge to these desperate owners to keep their ponies here until their stables are ready to return to after what they've been through.
Obviously there are costs for bedding and feed etc which we would like to absorb, can you help with a donation?

- Not sure why this was posted here as everything was coordinated and sorted on the FB page. All of these horses are now safe. There will be other issues with horses and livestock but local pages groups on FB sorting as and when.

"If anyone has flooded fields, we have no stables available but can offer well drained fields and hay provided.
This applies to cattle, sheep, alpacas, whatever. Not just horses. Phone 07712226084
BB5 3sL accrington 10 mins off m65. Daily check included. Big bales of hay provided at cost.
Edit. 10pm. Haslingden Old Rd now closed due to weather. We are rapidly heading towards being snowed in. If you need to bring horses contact me ASAP.
Horses are fine in the snow if they have rugs, hay and water. Some of the livery horses have been out 24/7 and not wanted to come in. I have wintered out three guest horses through the Beast from the East, one was a slimline TB. I can put warm mash out daily if required."
