We are all heartbroken to hear this sad news god bless sweetheart. "Doris Banham Dog Rescue

RIP DARLING WOLFIE
It is with total grief and devastation that we have to tell you that Wolfie’s body was discovered today curled up under a tree about .5 mile from where he was lost, he appears to have died peacefully in his sleep.
Wolfie’s Team and his rescue – The Doris Banham Rescue have done so much over the last 4 weeks to try and find Wolfie and today’s devastating news has hit everyone so hard.
Thank you to Richard who slept out in his car and searched tirelessly for Wolfie, putting up posters and walking miles, to Team Wolfie made up of helpers from a number of different groups – DogLost, Drone SAR and local volunteers who contacted local businesses and put up 100’s of posters, to Harvey’s Army who sent 5000 flyers to help, to the people who produced the banners and those that allowed them to be put up on their property, to everyone who shared his post and looked for him and to the local community especially Catherine who was there to support Richard with hot drink, food and accommodation. It is so very hard to come to terms with this. Our beautiful gentle boy has gone to heaven too soon and not a day will pass that we do not think of him and hold him closely in our hearts. Run free darling Wolfie - we love you so very much xxx"

Have you contacted Nikki Scrivens she has the equipment and expertise to help? She has just caught yet another dog that has been on the run in RH area. Would be my first port of call if I needed help. Sorry to hear posters have been taken down

if lost in Pointers Road- Basically trapped in an area bounded by the A3 and M25 could be on the plough meadows fields or the considerably larger expanses of Cobham Court Farm, Cobham Court or Ash Farm- all three are very secluded and wholly on private property: apart from fishermen: Feltham and Twickenham piscatorial society have the fishing rights over 95% of this beat of the Mole between the railway bridge at the back of Chelsea's training ground all the way to the road bridge at Sainsburys at Pains Hill. Hope that the dog is found soon.Cobham Court farm access is off the north side of the bridge on downside bridge road.

Wolfie has been missing with very few sightings for 14 days now
He is either hunkered down deep and unseen, has left the area or someone may have him safe, but are unsure what to do...
Look/listen to this video Wolfie is a gentle boy, but scared and anxious. He will be avoiding humans as best he can...but WILL pop up eventually...we need 'that person' when they see him to know EXACTLY what to do!
Wolfie's story needs to be shared widely!!...and YOU can help with this
SHARE, SHARE and SHARE AGAIN Wolfie's posts...on Facebook community pages/your timeline/business pages, Instagram, Twitter...whatever you have would be great...
Print and put up a poster for him somewhere that people will see. This is THE most effective way for people to see him...so many folk don't use social media...
People around the Cobham and surrounding areas...check cctv/Ring type doorbell/dash cam videos...many a lost dog gets spotted unexpectedly on these
HIT THE MESSAGE BUTTON ON THIS PAGE OR CALL 07706 690 041, 07710 775 852, 07718 967 455, 07831 757757 - and remember...DO NOT CHASE/FOLLOW HIM AS HE WILL RUN...we want him calm and settled in order to secure him safely

UPDATE ON MISSING WOLFIE

Wolfie had been homed for one week when on Monday, the owner's dog walker who had been told not to let him off his lead particularly because he is deaf, did so anyway and Wolfie became lost.

We were very unfortunately not informed of this or we would have gone as soon as we knew he was missing. But on Wednesday night at 9pm we saw the Dogslost post and Richard from Cottam immediately drove to the area arriving at midnight and he has been searching for Wolfie night and day ever since without any rest.

Lost Dog Recovery UK South are on site setting up cagetraps and thermal cameras and have been totally brilliant and we are arranging a drone search with SAR drone.

Wolfie was sighted in the local area on Monday and Tuesday but there have been no sightings since. Duncan who lives in the area has been brilliantly helping Richard, and Perry has been distributing posters. Catherine Corner volunteer from Cobham for Surrey Dogslost has also been brilliantly helping Richard.

To say that we are beside ourselves with worry would be an understatement. Wolfie is a gentle, docile, timid dog who will be terrified and will run from people so we are asking people for SIGHTINGS ONLY as approaching him could cause him to bolt. Richard can be there very quickly if we are informed of a sighting and Wolfie knows and loves Richard.

We are all so very worried about him and it is breaking our hearts that he is lost and are hoping and praying he will be found safe and well as soon as possible.
