What a pretty little JRT - lovely reunited video 💝

Thankyou reggiemollieros - I don't always 'type as I think' as I do not like to 'judge' without all the facts -but this case has highlighted a real need for a 'system update'? 'we' daily, see accounts of flaws in the microchipping system don't we - where Vets by Law, may only 'choose' to scan a stray /New Client : where for some reason, other people than the true 'owner' are allowed to 'change ownership' :I have even read 1st hand of an 'escapee' being picked up & taken to a local rescue - scanned but NOT Returned to the Owner, or apparently advertised anywhere as being found, until the Owner, thankfully, Found out Where His Dog was & put the pressure on to have his dog back !
Thank goodness that the 'new owner' was a Caring Honest Lady who 'luckily' became temporarily immobile & felt that Freddie needed someone who could walk him daily.
.... Could that Lady Not be Contacted via the NextDoor App Advert which She had written ? ''' Surely, the Microchip Company will be aware of Which VET had Scanned Freddie's Microchip after He was Stolen ? ...

I agree stoptheft Freddie could have been home two weeks ago. Hope his family when they get a chance can have his chip details checked. As we don’t knew which vet I doubt we will find out why they didn’t inform the dog warden. Such a wonderful reunited video . Freddie looked so happy.

What a Beautiful Emotional Video that Moment when Freddie saw His Dad & vice versa of course 🐾😍😂
BUT,I read details on Facebook - that a Lady was handed 'Freddie', in Peckham, by a woman who didn't want Him anymore !( She knew She was the Known Thief ?) & this Lady kept Freddie but always had an inkling that He belonged to someone else.. She took Freddie to a Local Vet who Scanned & Yes, the Dog WAS 'chipped. Vet phoned Nos. but Landline was not answered & Mobile No. not in use 😔
..so, Were Freddie's 'chip Details Not up to date ? or was there an error with a Mobile No. on the database ?
WHY did the Vet hand Him back instead of Reporting a Found Dog to the Warden ( & Warden could have allowed the Lady to take care of Freddie until an owner was Found - but the Warden would Hopefully have recognised Freddie as a Stolen Dog )
..Did Freddie's 'chip have a Stolen Alert on it, I am sure it would have ?. - if so, WHY had the Vet Not been Alerted to that fact ?!.
...What saddens me too, is, WHY would a Vet , their vet nurse/receptionist - Not quickly Do a SEARCH on THIS Database for Stolen, Lost Males of a Similar Match (espec. with his Distinctive Brown Forehead Marking !)?
Are Not All Vets AWARE of DoglostUK ( a database who All Owners of Stolen/Missing Pets are always Urged to Register their Pet with !? )
... Is the 'system ' flawed ?.
How many OTHER Stolen & Missing Dogs are with 'new owners' because a Vet has returned a Dog, knowing that the Dog was actually 'chipped to another owner ?😮
Surely in this day of Modern Technology : Vets, Dog Wardens, Kennels. Rescues, RSPCA, Police even ! could be 'equipped' with a Database Very Similar to DoglostUK's ?

FREDDIE REUNITED 🐾❤️🐾. Thank you to an amazing lady who never stopped helping ❤️ Copied Post:- So after my millionth post in many, many London Facebook pages looking for Freddie , yesterday I had a breakthrough and someone recognised him. With Diane's help (sorry hun, I can't tag you!) we finally managed to contact the woman who had him. She was given him by someone 2 and a half weeks ago and has been searching for the owner. It's a massively long story which includes me talking to her nephew in Bermuda 😂
Today this happened......... You Will need tissues 💜

Ohhh,i thought that when a CRN is Issued , confirming a Theft, that a Police Officer is Assigned to Investigate ?!
Plz Take your case to a Higher Ranking Officer - As this 'Lulu' was previously arrested, then Police will have Recorded Her Address ( one would hope!!)
The Investigating Officer needs to Arrange a surprise 'visit' to this Lulu, doesn't he ?
How many other (Stolen) Dogs will she have inside her Home, as well as Fred ?
There might be evidence inside the home, of her as advertising them for sale - illegal breeding even - it does go on, how often do we read & see such Reports 😡
DogLostVetsGetScanning
On Twitter:-
The only lead I have is that the thief is most likely a woman called LuLu, was told on the day that she was white but was recently told that there's a LuLu matching the description from asda security but instead of white she is Asian.

This LuLu is apparently a well known dog thief and was arrested in the asda a week prior to the dog theft, was released from prison a day prior and is a known druggie as well according to sources.

According to sources she is around 5"6", has 1 middle tooth, is a known dog thief within the area, lives in #Greenwich and is either white or Asian (Chinese). If a woman matching this description is spotted call the police!

Apparently police are not being helpful! Last edited: 2019-10-13 19:08:32 by VetsGetScanning

Sorry forgot this quote:
Also for anyone within the #Lewisham are then PLEASE be careful with your animals, this woman has apparently stolen many other people's dogs and has somehow gotten away it every time. PLEASE BE MORE CAREFUL THAN MY FATHER WAS

Thanks reggiemollieros for update. All xd.
DogLostreggiemollieros
My Lewisham hunch was correct from owner’s Twitter “ UPDATE! The theft is on camera, A mid 20's 5ft 6 inch or so white woman is the culprit (suspected to be a well know crackhead/dog thief who hangs around with the lowest type of scum), if someone similar is seen with my dog then call the police immediately or contact me here!“ @madboxcod Last edited: 2019-10-10 23:33:11 by reggiemollieros

SE3 SE4 SE6 could alerts go out to these postcodes too? It’s only a hunch but a few stolen dogs have turned up in Lewisham and those postcodes cover that area. Thank you
