Place an object with his sent on in a clean container, such as his UNWASHED blanket; your scent too, Just because you can`t see a cat, doesn`t mean they aren`t around. Take a good walk around the area, holding an object with his scent on, rattle some Dreamies. Someone maybe feeding him. When it`s nightfall, and you are searching, use a strong torch as the light will reflect a cats eyes. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Ask around especially those with children as they can be very observant, where animals are concerned. Post in shops; post offices too Hand out as many posters as you can; whee, and when you can. Ask family, friends, and neighbours to share. Twitter too. The couple you saw holding a cat. Did it resemble Gizzy? If you think he has been stolen, take advice from the police co-ordinators on this site. Presume you checked all outbuildings at the time he went missing. Post a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper too. Some Pedigree cats gets stolen, and sold on. The couple with the cat seems very suspect. "SPREAD THE WORD" Paws xd,Last edited: 2019-08-18 18:53:47

Full text of post on Gizzi's group which has been truncated for website entry:
"GIZZI HAS BEEN MISSING SINCE THE EVENING OF WEDNESDAY 31ST JULY. HE’S A SMALL MALE DEVON REX.
THERE WAS A SUSPICIOUS COUPLE SEEN ON FERRYHILL PLACE, ABERDEEN WITH A CAT IN THEIR ARMS AT MIDNIGHT THAT NIGHT.
THEY WERE APPROX IN THEIR 60’S WITH A STRAGGLY HIPPIE LIKE APPEARANCE. SHE HAD ON PINK TROUSERS AND A WHITE TOP, HER HAIR WAS LONG AND GRAY. HE HAD DARK CARGO TROUSERS WITH GREY HAIR GROWING OVER HIS EARS.
THEY WERE OVERHEARD SAYING “HE’S NOT A RAG DOLL” (GIZZI IS A PEDIGREE DEVON REX). A CAR BOOT WAS HEARD CLOSING AND A CAR PARKED AT THE FAR LEFT HAND SIDE OF THE STREET THEN DROVE OFF.

WE ALL MISS HIM. HE’S A SPECIAL CAT THAT MYSELF AND MY SON ARE NOT ALLERGIC TO."

Will add link & poster image to Help Find Gizzi and DogLost Highlands & Islands FB groups.
