"Hi everyone, I don’t know where to start but saying thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the overwhelming support.

It is with a broken heart that I need to tell you our beautiful, one of a kind boy and best friend has been found deceased.

We now have him back with us where he belongs, unfortunately it seems he drowned on the day he went missing in the lake.

James and I were so lucky to have him for the short time we did, I cannot express how much love joy and light Gus brought to us and our family in his short time on this earth

We were so so lucky to have him and we will never get over this.

Please do not call us please allow us to grieve privately thank you so so much for everything"

We are investigating the suspected theft of a bulldog in Swindon and would urge anyone with information to get in touch.

Gus is a New Age bulldog and is white fawn in colour.

It is believed he was stolen from an address in Telford Pool Lane, Cheney Manor, on Wednesday 10 July.

Anyone with information about Gus’ whereabouts should call 101 and quote crime reference number 541290067366."

CCTV has now been viewed at Pets for Homes and Not Gus.
Was a unconfirmed sighting at Asda Orbital Centre yesterday.

Poster's are going up but offers of Printing are needed.

Ive contacted owner via Facebook seems to have a great many offers of help and many facebook posts but now Gus has his own page it may be more easy to follow.
FB: 'Help find Gus missing Bulldog'

Have also given advice on further Postering as Posters are so important & to not loose sight that Gus is very likley still in area he went missing from.

It needs reporting to Police so CCTV can be viewed then The Management would be able to look & eliminate if Gus or not.
It may well be completely innocent but owners need to know.

A man was sighted at Pets for home store (not sure which one) with a dog looking very like Gus, buying a harness ,the dog was distressed and on a rope lead, owner looking into CCTV .
Hopefully now owner will or has contacted the Police for a CRIME no.

It was originally thought Gus was lost on a walk near Water and many people have searched areas in Cheney Manor.
If Gus has definitely gone from garden & no sightings he may have been picked up, as has happen previously apparently.

Please put this Poster up everywhere so that we get sightings or if Stolen it will make him Too Hot To Handle.

Plz do not Assume that lovely Gus has been Stolen x
Have you checked neighbouring gardens - He could have become STUCK UNDER any buildings as well as inside, & he will not necessarily Bark , but curl up, scared 😔
Plz Leave an Item of WORN Clothing of the person with whom Gus has the most bond, in a safe place nr your house entrance - leaving a gate open for access. x
You might also Hang a Slept-On Bed Sheet (of same person) on your outside washing line - all to help Him Scent back home if he is able .
Hopefully, He will soon track back.home 🙏 x
