Irish Gardaì have seized several dogs one is a black female Labrador. See Waterford Animal Welfare FB post 30/7.

No joy in lelant. Thank you to the gent who spotted the black labrador and contacted us. Support everywhere we go. After looking at a photo from this morning we knew it wasn't maude but always worth investigating. Even if it's just to help others be reunited with a lost dog. Thank you to everyone supporting our search.

Possible sighting of maude several times between 7am and half hour ago at West Country golf club LELANT! At the course and down by the estuary! Anyone nearby please keep a look out. Apparently the dog spotted is very scared. We are on our way to see if we can find her Thank you

Will the person/persons who stole our 2 labrador bitches from HALVANA PLANTATION last Saturday 27/4(5 lanes bodmin Moor) please return them here. We live on the edge of these woods and the dogs treat them like our back garden.. If you drop them off in the woods they will be home in minutes. BOTH ARE SPEYED! . You do not know the heartache and pain you have caused to so many people!! Please do the right thing. If anyone has any information about this or a small white peugeot van with old/ faded blue and red sign writing with two men in it spotted driving around halvana woods on Saturday 27/4 lunchtime please help! And thank you to everyone who has helped/shared and supported so far! Thank you Wayne Farr.

I have spoken to Wayne who is one of the owners. He feels that they have been picked up by someone. They know the area well. The woods have been searched on foot & horseback. He feels if they were out in the open, they would come home.
A30 has been checked, as they are very close to this.
He doesn't feel at this stage a drone would be beneficial as it couldn't search the dense woodland & they have searched a lot of the open land on foot/horseback etc.
Local farmers have been informed (livestock area)
Devon dog warden will also be informed, due to being near border.
