Presume you have done double checks re: outbuildings? (Sone cats can survive without food for weeks. They lick on objects to keep themselves hydrated). Some cats can stay very quiet, and still even though their owners are present. It happened on this site, when a cat owner took a second look before their cat was found. Have you asked in Tesco`s to see if they have spotted a unfamiliar cat in the area? Or is someone feeding him where he was possibly spotted? A cat that was posted as missing for THREE MONTHS was found by the owners brother only ten minutes form his home. A woman had been feeding him fresh chicken every day. And just because you don`t see a cat does`nt mean they are`nt around. Cats as you know can be very elusive. Or as I said in previous post, Was he chased out of his own territory by another cat?

Hi Janie I’ve been posting on a few different sites, I’ve not done the newspaper though so will look into that. I have had various possible sighting that I have been and checked, it’s either turned out not to be him or I never saw the cat that’s been spotted x

Keep postering, and post a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper too. Any possible recent sightings where he may have been seen?. Re: 2019-3-14 20.47 (leannes76 post). Paws xd.

If Cole has been sighted, someone may be feeding him, depending on how far away he has been sighted, or he could have been chased out of his own territory by a more dominant cat, and has become lost, and disorientated. It can happen. And he nay have become lost, and disorientated. The chased cat won`t return, until they think it`s "Safe" enough for them to do so. I would advise the owner to walk around the area, where the sighting was, taking with them an object with his scent on, and rattle some treats. Also use the same (If possible) deodorant that you use on a day to day basis, as he will recognize the scent, and your the one he trusts. Remember to take the cat carrier with you of course. Hope Cole is reunited soon. Paws xd.

There has been a possible sighting of him near the big Tesco on Hill street and near The Big Bear at the bottom of Hill street. I walked to the Sunbed shop on Burnley road last night and one of my other cats followed me, I noticed him just before I crossed the road so picked him up and took him home, I’m now thinking Cole May have been there too and as it was dark I couldn’t see him. So he could have lost his way from there and ended up where possibly he’s been seen. I’m currently here in the car watching for him but it’s been nearly 2 hours and not even had a glimpse 😭 x
