A possible lead has emerged via Rosie's group:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/321271012046848/permalink/376543063186309/
"Hi All,

Mandy Ritson was left a voicemail in the early hours of this morning. We have no idea if it was legitimate or a hoax, but have to follow every lead.

It sounded like an oldish man but the number was withheld so we haven’t been able to call back.

The voicemail said that Rosie had been found, picked up either at a church or by somebody to do with a church, and had been given to a lovely lady to keep her safe and look after her.

So our next port of call, and expanding on people’s suggestions that somebody who doesn’t have internet access may have her, we’re looking to appeal to members of local churches or anyone who has connections with churches. It’s a longshot, but if anyone knows of any Facebook groups for local churches/church groups please let us know.

As I say, this could be genuine but it could also be a hoax so we can’t put all eggs in one basket, but if anyone has any suggestions to help go down this path please let us know 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻.

Ange, Glen & Rolo 💕🐾 xx"

There are lots of local suggestions on Rosie's group. I have also suggested the following as a quick way of communicating with all C of E churches in Northumberland:
https://www.newcastle.anglican.org/
"We are the Diocese of Newcastle, proud to be the Church of England's northernmost diocese and framed between the rivers Tyne and Tweed. We have 237 Churches serving 178 Parishes in 12 Deaneries."Last edited: 2019-03-03 11:32:54 by GeoffA - Area Volunteer - Cornwall, Scotland & Northumberland
