Assume never found?

Thanks for the comments. We have been out shaking a treat bag which we did for a few weeks. We live on a new build site so there’s a possibility that she got in a truck or van. We have posted leaflets around the local area and put them on lamp posts. Hopefully one day we’ll find her.

MY best guess here would be that as she is a timid cat, she may have been chased out of her own territory b a dominant cat, and became lost, and disorientated, and has relocated somewhere else. Even sby cats will do this sometimes.Last edited: 2018-10-20 08:14:54

Presume you checked ALL outbuildings, including empty houses, and, cellars THOROUGHLY? As some cats will hide in., or behind an object within, especially if timid. Was there a delivery van in the area at the time she went missing? As she may have been curious, and climbed into it, which isn`t uncommon for some cats to do. Poster around the area, and pot flyers through door too. Ask around, especially those with children, as they can be very observant. Hand out posters to as many people as you can. And where, and when you can. Poster in shops post offices etc. Post a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper too. Someone may be feeding her. A cat that went "Missing" for THREE MONTHS, was found by the owners brother, only ten minutes from his home. A woman had been feeding him fresh chicken every day. Was there a dominant cat in the area, at the time she went missing? As sometimes they will chase a cat of of it`s own territory, especially a timid one. However the cat usually returns when the think it`s "Safe" enough for them to do so, but some cats can become lost, and disorientated. Walk around the area, holding an object with her scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. Just because you don`t see a cat, doesn`t mean they aren`t around. Paws xd.Last edited: 2018-10-18 21:39:07

Sorry to see that NALA is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (135766)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
