Thereis a dog this colour found in Hull on Facebook page 'missing spaniel UK'
No, she's still missing (and has never been sighted).
was this dog ever found?
Hi Jenny, is Molly spayed do you know?
DogLostMillypod (Chris) - Administrative Volunteer
Hi Bur48, Sadly Microchip numbers don't match with Molly.
There was a female found on 19/03/19. She's listed on http://www.petslocated.com/pet-search.php?type=f&pet=Dog#.XJPoaMmnzQ

Pets Located Ref no: RH0124783
People have mentioned Molly in connection with this found dog.!

Where exactly is the travellers site? Did the dog look healthy ?
The police only checked one dog, the other appeared after, not been able to get a photo yet, Julia
DogLostSharon - Social Media Volunteer
Julia did the police only check one of the dogs?

Also, as these pages are not monitored your comment may be missed so please could you send an email with your comment and any other info you have and a photo if possible to stolen@doglost.co.uk with Molly's name and dog ID (133099) in the heading ~ ThanksLast edited: 2019-02-18 01:58:35 by Sharon - Social Media Volunteer
Did you get a photo Julia?
I know it’s a long shot, but I have seen a cocker spaniel that looks similar to molly at my local travelers site, it hasn’t been there long and is with another cocker that has been checked out with the police, maybe worth a scan? Ox18 2hw
Sadly it was confirmed based on the microchip numbers that the dog that we have in London is not Molly.

Good luck with the search!
DogLostSharon - Social Media Volunteer
As it's now been confirmed that the sighted dog was not Molly, could the 'SIGHTED' be removed from the title (next to Molly's name)
Thank you for the help.

I will send an email to that email address straight away. Thanks again!

Dora-j - thanks for your information. However, the posts are not monitored and can be missed. Please could I suggest that you email your information to stolen@doglost.co.uk with Molly's name and dog ID in the heading. CJ (Dog Lost Police Liaison Officer) who registered Molly has details of her microchip number so will be able to either confirm or rule her out. Good luck x
Good evening,
Is there anyone on this website who knows the family by any chance?
Basically me and my partner have been following this thread since Molly has disappeared hoping that she would be found.
I work at a Veterinary practice in London and we have received a call yesterday and the woman on the phone said that there were two spaniels found in SW London and asked me if I could search for possible owners in our database based on the dogs’ microchip number. Needless to say that we did not find anything on our system.
That is when she said that one of the dogs happen to be called Molly and she is a black and white cocker spaniel. She also said that her microchip number is registered with a Kent breeder still, however the number registered with the number does not work/ incorrect.

If someone on this thread knew Molly or the family very well they could let me know either if:
- Molly had a nametag at all (the dog found had a name tag saying Molly)
- how old is Molly
- her veterinary practice’s name as I would be able to call them asking for the microchip number and they would be likely to give it to me as I work for a Veterinary practice too
- or if anyone knows her microchip number I could compare the numbers that I have
- Molly’s breeder’s name in Kent as I know these dogs’ registered breeder’s name.

I know it is unlikely that it is the same Molly. But might as well try. Who knows what happened.

I called Kent police yesterday to see if they could help me, however the lady on the phone did not know, she took my number and said they would call me back, which has not happened.
Thank you Jenny for update. So very sad. We'll keep posting for her and stay hopeful.
Jenny & Tiga k9tracker
Sadly the sighting of a dog recently in Derring Woods was not Molly. Thank you so much for the help from the local people in helping me out with this one.
I live near the Derring Woods and was going to head over with a friend tomorrow to have a look if we can see her about, is there any possibility of getting an approximate location of the sighting of her? I'm not out to catch her I'm hoping to help get sightings and help in any way I can 😶. X

Thanks for the update Jenny, it's much appreciated especially as Molly & Chris' story has touched so many people xx
Jenny & Tiga k9tracker
I have been involved closely with the family all the way through and am still and spoke to Chris's mother only on Friday.
As much as we all want to find Molly can we also remember that this is still a very sensitive and traumatic case - not only for the family but also for the local people who are still very much looking out for Molly and following up on every clue.
Sharon - myself and the family are aware of the content of Simon's concerns as are the local police and that this has been dealt with.
I still have a scent item and have followed up and will continue to follow up on any possible sightings.

Please, is it possible for someone to follow up on my post, dated 22/08 of a poor dog that was found (deceased) in the water at the bottom of the White Cliffs of Dover.
C'mon Molly give us a clue. So sad she's not even been sighted yet. She won't leave my mind.
The found dog referred to is NOT Molly.
I foned the original finder who had posted on fb.she was found to be chipped by a vet and reunited with her owner by the vets.

Is there any news on molly? I want to travel to dering Woods to have a look this weekend. Has there been any new sightings or info that could aid the search?
This is so terrible
I so hope this isn't the case
A little concerned as have read that meat that's possibly laced with a poisonous substance was found in woods by clandon/mayford road, kent & a dog was taken to vets with possible poisoning. I know that area is a few miles away from dering woods however it's suspected the meat was left in the woods as illegal way of killing foxes and implied this has happened before in the kent area. If anyone finds anything suspicious, should report to Kent police. Info from Medway stray dogs.
Stay safe, Molly.

Sharon M
Could Molly have made her way back to where Chris's car was found? I'm praying for this darling girl. Please come home Molly you are in my thoughts every day. Stay safe pretty girl xxx
Fingers still crossed for poor Molly xx

Thank you Lisa P for confirming your response referred to a different dog. Do you know if my comment regarding the body of a dog found in Dover will be followed up to rule out it wasnt Molly - it saddens me to think it could be her (or anyone elses dog for that matter - it plays on my mind, why, how, what happened, is anyone missing a dog).Last edited: 2018-08-24 10:15:13 by Lisa Clark
Hi Lisa Clark I was referring to a different dog, seen straying in Throckley, Newcastle that several people sent in details of to us, sorry for not making this clear x
Lisa Clark
Lisa P - Administrator, hope you dont mind me asking, but was your reply in response to my post regarding the body of a dog retrieved from the bottom of the White Cliffs of Dover? If so, I don't recognise the area "Throckley"? Thank you.
is this worth checking out? https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=2143144716008402&set=p.2143144716008402&type=3&theater&ifg=1
None that we are aware. Latest updates will be posted if there are any on here though.
Sharon M
Any further updates?
We have been sent details of the dog seen straying at Throckley & the photos have been enhanced, the dog at Throckley has solid black on feet and a dark black spot above the nostril so is not Molly. We have added an extra photo which has now been cropped (Thanks Buddy) to show Molly's full body x
Lisa Clark
Sadly, a body of a dog was retrieved from the bottom of the White Cliffs in Dover last Wednesday. The H M Coastguard searched for the possible body of a human as well, but I don't think one was retrieved, just sadly that of a dog. Is it possible that poor Molly could have travelled as far as Dover?
Please check my page on Facebook for photo of a dog very similar to Molly sighted in throckley near Newcastle upon Tyne ty

Family of Christopher Fisher continue to search for missing Spaniel https://www.kentonline.co.uk/ashford/news/search-for-missing-dog-continues-188344/
Patlucky just a caution but the area may still be sealed off by police and therefore inaccessible at present time!
Some dogs when scared will go to ground somewhere close by
It does happen they go nearby and hide in bushes etc
Could the near by area be checked by helpers in the area please?

Details from Kent police web site x posted with thier permission.
We are continuing to seek for help from residents and dog walkers to help find a vulnerable missing man from #Headcorn.

Christopher Fisher (known as Chris), who is 31-years-old, was reported missing at around 6pm on Thursday 9 August 2018. He was last believed to be in or around Dering Woods near Pluckley in the Ashford district.

Chief Inspector Mark Hedges said: ‘We are asking residents in Pluckley and Headcorn to check their gardens and outbuildings for any sign of Christopher and his dog. I would also request that dog walkers in these rural areas remain vigilant and call us if they spot him.

'Christopher is autistic and was distressed when he went missing. If you see him, please call us and do not approach him because it will scare him and cause him more distress.

'He was reported to be wearing dark trousers and either a blue rain coat or a navy blue zip-up hooded top. He had his black and white Spaniel dog called Molly(pictured) with him.

'Prior to being reported missing, he was driving a silver Vauxhall Corsa, which has since been located, but we are keen to hear from anyone who might remember seeing him in the car on 9 August.

'We remain concerned for Christopher’s welfare and are keen to reunite him with his family as quickly as possible.’

Can you help? If you see Christopher or know where he is please call Kent Police on 101 quoting reference 09-1026.
Sorry to see that MOLLY STILL MISSING is missing.
