Brilliant news. x
Facebook We Love Biggleswade is a closed site. According to Christine Hawkes 'Shammy has been safely found! Thanks to the man on the bike, the staff at Smith’s metals and everyone who supported our search!

Good news Meggie , but can not find the FB post ??
Local Facebook reporting Shammy found.
Sorry can't get away to join the search today. However last posting suggests she may be near the allotments at Kennel Farm Road, opposite the swimming pool. Try a poster on the noticeboard. Bedfordshire Growers on Potton Road have a cafe so a poster there may prove useful. Trailer park off Dunton Lane is for over 55s, many of whom are dog owners, they may have seen her.
Shammy appears to be heading towards Dunton across fields by swimming pool.. Another helper going to help with search...thanks so much

Another sighting just phoned in have put sighter in touch with owner.
Penny (the owner) and two people are on way to Biggleswade Common now. Dog has been spooked this morning and the common runs adjacent to the A1 motorway and this is the area we think she is currently in. Any experienced helpers in area please call Penny on 07790 916963...thank you.
Can anyone go help with advice on how to approach a running dog, "Stop, Drop and Think" approach ?..the dog is in flight mode now..sorry im not in area today :-(
Do you think a scenting trail would help bring her home
Just spoken with Penny, Shammy may be in the Biggleswade Common area thats the way she was heading....Anyone local able to help with search please.....?
Just spoken to Penny the owner she was at the location mentioned in town and thought to be caught on a fence, but managed to run off through a gap. Heading towards Lawrence Road & Potton Road going north. Penny is in car now searching. Any help would be gratefully received thank you xx

Facebook :"the dog was just seen running in the road in town past pizza express toward Stratton house I was in the hair dressers hope the dog is caught and it’s shammy"
Hi all, any possibility someone from Dog Lost team make contact with owner today with any help/ in London all day and tomorrow working so cant offer much support until later tonight. Think Penny(owner) just need to be reassured that people are searching as she does not use facebook so cannot see the comments etc..
Thank you and sorry for not being able to offer the support I would like to.Last edited: 2018-04-19 08:37:31 by jane67t
Many Tears Rescue
I've changed to A1. Thank you to everyone who is helping look for her. I'm told she is particularly frightened of men so if seen please call the owners asap.
I'm on the eastern side of the A1, opposite side of the river Ivel to Caldecote. The Golfing Centre is west of the A1 near the roundabout. Manor Farm Fisheries is on the eastern side.
Yes Meggie, it was the roundabout near the A1 Motorway. I will try speaking with the owners shortly to ask them to check out the locations mentioned. Thank you so much. Are you local and if so could you keep alert for her when out walking please? x
Should the major road be A1 rather than M1? If so, she was moving east. Anyone enquired of Chessums or checked out the lorry park?
confusion with two missing spaniels similar colours in same area, apologies. Just spoke to owner of Shammy who is still missing.Last edited: 2018-04-18 16:52:49 by jane67t
