Amazing news that some of these gorgeous dogs have been found, but wonder what they have had to endure, since they were stolen. Don’t know the full story, and I am so sorry that you have lost Bentley. I prey that Carol and Fudge are found safe and soon. I can't add a screenshot here. Is there an email I can send a photo to? Relating to fudge and carol: Facebook post is set to friends only so can't link here. Someone I know in Stockton has just taken two female Cockers on. They're not in show clip and I'm aware blue can change, and they'd have aged.

Please can you check the cocker spaniels that we’re found at a puppy farm in Grosmont near Whitby. The farm was raided by the rspca for dogs being kept in terrible conditions. There is a golden cocker , orange roan and various other colours. Not sure which rspca centre took the dogs but there were many cocker spaniels as well as other breeds seized. Please can someone enquire. Coverage of the dogs was on gazette live Teesside news. Fingers x’d. Xx

2 cockers ive read on fb have been located in Sussex. 1 red and 1 orange roan. All i can see that 1 has been handed into Seers Croft vets, not sure about the other one as they've been picked up at different times.

I am so sorry to hear this. It breaks your heart so goodness knows what you are going through. Why would people steal dogs and abuse them like this? There are so many sick people around, the law needs to come down heavy on them. A civilized society cannot let this thing happen, and it seems to be happening a lot more lately. We had a lurcher stolen from us back in the 1980s and that was a rare occurrence back then. I hope you find some comfort in the fact that Bentley is at peace now. XXX

The Rainbows Bridge Poem

RainbowBridge.com Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. Update on Bentley. RIP 💔.

It is with a very very heavy heart that we have to break the unthinkable awful news that sadly our Bentley has succumbed to his injuries that were inflicted on him by these wretched thieves, who stole him with five other cocker spaniels from their beds on 1st November 2017.
Bentley and Cilla were recovered on the streets of Darlington weeks later and whilst they were excited to be home it became very apparent they had both suffered terrible abuse and torture and consequently underwent extensive treatment at the vets. Cilla has hopefully made her way through these injuries with no lasting effect but unfortunately the repercussions of Bentleys injuries came back to bite which had resulted in his brain being damaged by infarcts of scar tissue breaking away in his artery and hitting the brain. Within a matter of two days, he became almost unresponsive and semi comatosed. There was nothing further the vet could do to help, they couldn't even get a line in as his veins were collapsing. Poor poor Bentley suffered one final twist in this awful situation and Sunday morning, lost his fight for life.
We are all lost for words and our heart goes out to Julie who loves Bentley with all her heart . There are no words as to how we feel as to what these thieves have done or put poor Bentley and Cilla through. When we find out who you are, god won't even be able to help you!!

We are going to miss Bentley and in his honour we must continue to search for the others. Please share share share the poster far and wide and help with everything in your power to bring these babies home. Storm, Fudge, Carol and Bijou, we are coming for you as quickly as we can to bring you home where you belong.

Bentley, we all love you and are going to miss you and we send our deepest sympathies and love to Julie who is obviously absolutely distraught. Please don't contact Julie direct at this time, feel free to send your condolences on this post, then she can read when feels strong enough. RIP gorgeous Bentley 😰😰😰

We will see that those who did this sickening crime pay for it, one way or another!!

Lisa reports: Anyone know if someone is missing some spaniels? Three were running loose in fields in and around Old Royston, Chevet and Newmillerdam areas? My dad has managed to get one of them the other two wouldn’t come to him. The one he has is safe, warm and looked after. Ideally he wants to find the owner and reunite them with their dog rather than take to Cliffe kennels.
