Oh no, I was so hoping for good news. So sorry for Dizzee and her human family. xxx
.
It's the most devastating news I am afraid, Dizzee has been found. The owner received a call this morning, she was very very close to home. The owner has thanked everyone that tried to help find her. I will be going out to take down any posters I put up - and I will delete all my posts etc. Please can everyone do the same. RIP beautiful Dizzee, run free at Rainbow Bridge. We tried so hard to find you we really did xxxLast edited: 2017-11-05 12:27:49 by .

Freddie 12 you are doing brilliantly helping Frances. Really hope Dizzee will be home safe soon x

As I’m still ignorant about Twitter! If they have’t been approached what about asking Paul O’Grady, The Super Vet, Country File presents and Chris Packham to get the word out?
I think Jonathan Ross lives near the area and loves dogs plus Jamie Oliver - not sure how it works....
SophieA
Hi Freddie 12, you are doing an amazing job, unfortunately I am out of London until the end of next weekend so can’t put more posters up. I can email/make calls if I think of anything or anyone wants me to.

Well done Freddie!

Have been out searching around Gospel Oak area by the rail tracks, and along towards Kentish Town, went round back areas again to see if there is anywhere Dizzee may have been hiding out. Coudln't see anything much. Went round to the UPS depot on the other side of the track, opposite KEntish Town Station, this is where Murphy's said they saw her run up the bank. Drove all around the industrial estate and got out at a few spots where there were areas that she may be. Nothing. Finished up by walking from tennis courts thats he was sighted [Highgate rd] up to Highgate via Highgate West Hill. Put about 30 posters up all the way up the hill to the place where the George Michael shrine is. Met people along the way that already knew about her which was reassuring. Owner had the offer of a drone man but the rules are so strict that it's not possible to fly over the HEath itself and he would need a much more refined search area than the one we currently have. He would also need home owners permission to fly over individual houses etc. We really really need Dizzee to give us a teeny clue now as to where to go next so that we can help her get home. Paws crossed once again. Last edited: 2017-11-04 20:49:02 by .

An actress from Downton Abbey tweeted to say that she lost her dog on the Heath for a long time but did get back in the end. She said we woudl need "help". I've tweeted back to see if she can give any tips!
.
Since popping into on Tues UPS I've now emailed every business I could find that is registered within that estate, beside the track and opposite the station. Hoping someone might have seen her.

For info, I've emailed Highgate Golf Club and Hampstead Golf Club and Waterlow PArk to ask them to put a poster up and look out for Dizzee. If anyone is a member at either Golf Club or goes to the park maybe you could also do the same. Looking at the map, these are in the peripheral of what might be the area where Dizzee has wandered, we just don't know where she is at the moment, with no sightings for a week. Trying to think outside the box. Please can anyoen else update here with what they are doing too?
.
There have been no further sigtings of Dizzee. We are continuing to put posters up - particularly as many are being taken down. If you have put any up please can you check next time you pass to see if they are still there? We may need fresh postering efforts in Kentish Town and Hampstead areas. I did some fresh ones on Tuesday this week. Word is spreading on Twitter thanks to the two articles in the local papers and lots of re-tweets. Started an instagram page too, to try and reach people who may not use other social media. A doglost helper has set up a facebook group to try and bring together groups of people who are helping. It's useful to use this because maps and more photos can be posted. Please can everyone still check in on doglost and update with what they are doing to make sure the message goes back to everyone following this page here who may not have facebook. Thank you all for following the lovely Dizzee.Last edited: 2017-11-04 10:25:38 by .

URGENT - POSSIBLE SIGHTING HILLINGDON
I've had tweets of a sighting of. black dog on the A40 and also on the train tracks at Hillingdon. Have emailed admin - since this might be Dizzee [as train tracks from Kings X do go out this way], is it possible to send alerts to any helpers in this area? They may know of another black dog locally that this might have been which would at least enable us to eliminate the possibility that Dizzee may have just walked 15 miles down a train track. Please help! I am out most of today and can't do much I'm so sorry x the details of the info are on my @thedogfinder twitter page, I have msgs the person both DM and tweet to try and get more info, not heard back yet.Last edited: 2017-11-02 09:07:19 by .

Reggie! 2 great minds think alike. Jo Good was the first person I thought of today as the Barking Hour goes out tomorrow afternoon. Anna Webb has kindly tweeted about Dizzee from the Barking Blondes Twitter account earlier this week. I've been tweeting Jo. I've now Facebook msgd her and emailed and tweeted Anna too ..... with any luck they will contact owner. I'll msg owner and see if she will call in - this would be the perfect way to reach some people who may not have social media. Going in Camden New Journal 2mrw xLast edited: 2017-11-01 08:28:52 by .

Hello Freddie 12, thank you for tweeting both - please let me know if ## & emojis work! Amazing the amounts of views on this, you are doing a fabulous job. Sadly I can’t get to the area tomorrow to put up more posters. Keeping everything crossed that Dizzee is home ASAP
.
PS this page has had 2000 hits in the last 24 hours. Amazing!
.
SophieA contacting the schools is a really good idea. 1000s of 👀 Looking out for her. I emailed a few yesterday knowing they are back after half term. I did William Ellis and Sainte Union as they are down by where she went missing. Haven't done Highgate or South Hampstead High it's great that a Mum has offered to drop off a poster. I was thinking that the area up to Highgate from Swains Lane up Highgate West Hill should be postered definitely and I don't think anyone has done it yet (?). Is anyone close to that area please?
.
Hi SophieA - please thank the IT person, I've tweeted both just now from my Twitter using the #FindDizzee and a couple of emojis! I've got Twitter analytics so it will be interesting to see if it works! Can anyone else who has Twitter do the same or RT any of my tweets please - every little counts. @thedogfinder

I don’t know if notices have been put on two Twitter accounts: dogownersuk and missingpetsgb but an IT expert has suggested them and said to add loads of #### and emojis as people take note - I don’t use Twitter so not sure of correct terminology or how to add about Dizzee to both accounts (just reading his email & typing what he suggests - sorry for being ignorant on this!)
SophieA
Great the word is out there. Fingers crossed Dizzee is found tonight. A kind lady is taking a lost poster to South Hampstead High School when she drops her daughter off in the morning, hopefully any Mum’s dropping off/collecting children will take note.
I don’t know anyone at Highgate School but I saw quite a lot of the pupils near Kenwood House when putting out posters this afternoon. Might be worth trying them as well. I will also look for other schools in the area to see if they will put up posters.Last edited: 2017-10-31 20:10:36 by SophieA

This page is getting 1000 views A DAY people. We are doing something right! Word is out there. There MUST be some news soon.
.
I asked Kentish Town City Farm to keep an eye out for her. They have a staff meeting 2mrw and the CEO is going to make sure that all staff are aware to look our for Dizzee. He's going to print the poster and put it up outside for us.
.
I've been investigating an area of what I thought was wasteland behind some houses in Gordon House Rd close to the Parliament Hill Lido entrance to The Heath. I managed to get access through someone's house who had a key to a gate that led to the "scrub" which in fact turned out to be a nature reserve. I spent a long time in there quietly listening for any possible sound of her, I looked in all the undergrowth and checked all along the railway tracks. I could not see any sign of Dizzee. Anyway the lady [In Mortimer Rd] is putting up a poster and will look out for her and I then leafleted all the houses along Gordon House Rd that back onto the nature reserve. It's gated and locked and only opened once. month or so, for school children. Someone was there omg Sunday and there was no sign of Dizzee the either. It was just a hunch.
Along Highgate Rd a bit further I popped into M&A Coachworks as they also back onto the track. They let me have access to their yard and I had. good search but no sign. They will keep an eye out and have the poster. They have tweeted too. I searched all around Sanderson Close too. I popped into Murphy's who have a big yard. They had seen Dizzee on the train tracks on TUesday but not since. Their version was that she ran across to the other side, going towards Kentish Town Station and the way the chap described it to me was that she ran up the bank and out into the industrial estate opposite, where UPS is. SO what Marlise said below is very relevant definitely. I have passed this on to the owner tonight. Come on DIZZEE!!! Come out now please. Let us all help you home beautiful girl x
.
Hello Marlise, I was there today, I have put a couple of posters up but ran out time today. I went into the cubicle where they let the UPS drivers in at the barrier and they have a poster up where the drivers clock in and he said they are all aware. But I agree more posters around the whole estate would be perfect. I saw a few parking wardens too! I've spoken to the owner tonight and she knows the estate you mean so hopefully between us all someone can get there with some more posters. I noticed that a lot of the ones I had done on Saturday and Sunday had been taken down :-(( so spent some time today re-postering where I had been before. We have to keep putting the posters up its the best hope of getting a fresh sightingLast edited: 2017-10-31 19:13:38 by .
Marlise
I’ve just been driving around the estate in Regis Road, opposite the Assembly House. I’m seeing a lot of parking permit enforcement people walk here, it might be worth putting some posters up so they are also able to keep their eyes open? Also, there are some lovely hiding places here- might be worth a look in daytime? I’m not local, but I work here some days, and will keep an eye out for your girl!
.
That's brill. A few other Police tweeted yesterday, which is brilliant. Very helpful. London Overground RT'd to 424000 followers. I attached the poster to their tweet. Ham&High said they will do an article. I've asked Daily Mail Online and Evening Standard - will see! Thinking Caps on now. What else can we do to help get this beautiful girl home? please follow me @thedogfinder

Got some support from Muswell Hill Police on Twitter who are very good at helping. Consequently got. Tweet from Hampstead Police too. Pulled in a few other locals too.
Attached the poster and Do Not Chase
.
Hi SophieA yes! That's right she did, looking for Wolfy. It's almost 2 years to the day, in same area too. I've been in touch with her this week. Lottie also talked about the urine sock on a stick and I did too. Kate Spicer actually had someone offer to tie meat to the back of his bike and lay a scent trail for Wolfy too. I'm convinced Dizzee will be looking for clues. It's a good idea if the owner fancies giving it a try. Absolutely anything is worth a try. Keep ideas coming thick and fast X Paws crossed
SophieA
I have read about a journalist called Kate Spicer whose dog went missing in Islington a couple of years ago. She was laying a scent trail - a bottle of her own urine & a dirty sock when her dog was found. It turned out she had tweeted about her missing dog & it was retweeted loads, fingers crossed all the retweets find Dizzee.
.
TFL Rail have Retweeted to their 60,000 followers. someone in AUSTRALIA has Retweeted with 169000 followers [hoping some live in London!], had support worldwide today, amazing - John McCririck and his wife Booby have been in touch with owner to lend advice and support and have Retweeted too. Just praying that this is going to bring some good news soon. Paws crossed everyoneLast edited: 2017-10-30 23:08:16 by .

Is it worth adding on the details and poster that Dizzee was not wearing a collar when she went missing?
.
Trying a few other newspapers to see if they will cover the story, many of them will do it online and / or print too. If n e 1 has any media contacts it might help. Camden New Journal definitely running.

Inspired by you, I have just put a notice about this on the "In the Doghouse" thread of MumsNet in the hopes some doggy Mumsnet followers live locally and might help.
.
Mumsnet HQ have replied to my email. They have their offices right next to the track, in the stretch between the Heath and The Forum, backing onto the railway track. They alerted all their staff and have promised to keep an eye out for her. Also Anna Webb from BBC Radio London Barking Blondes has tweeted - she presents a show with Jo Good. This is great news. I've also been contacted by a journalist on Camden New Journal. Have asked if he will contact owner to write an piece. Every little helps. Every second counts. It feels like we are getting closer, at least by reaching more people there is a chance someone will see her.
.
I've been tweeting again, anywhere I can think of in NW5 and Camden that may have seen her and might be willing to RT. Have also emailed all the businesses that have premises along the track. It's quite an industrial area behind The Southampton Arms pub and all those little side roads. I tried to walk in on Saturday but mostly closed. Murphy's is the biggest, also there is a Pure Gym, Pizza East, the Forum, Mumsnet. There are about 20 smaller businesses who have units behind there all along the railway track. I've asked then all to share the poster with their staff and ask anyone if they have seen a loose dog or heard a dog barking. It's just possible she has got herself stuck somewhere. I don't know hoe helpful any of these people will be of course, but it's worth a try! I've asked if they would permit me [and / or owner] to have a look and have also stressed that they should not call her or try and chase if they see her, but to contact owner straight away. I'm certain she is still close to this area. Hoping for a clue please Dizzee! You're too good at this hide and seek thing,Last edited: 2017-10-30 13:36:26 by .

Poster updated as requested.
.
DogLost Admin - if u r updating poster I think owner would like it to say please don't call Dizzee if you spot her - I'm not sure how it could be worded but she said she'd prefer an immediate call to her and for the person to quietly follow if possible. I hope that anyone involved in looking for her would know to do this anyway, but she did mention it and said she thought she should update the poster. I expect you will need to check this with her before doing. Maybe a request or alert for fresh postering around the West Heath area too - I've been up there today and did the ones I had left in my bag but ran out. The edges seem to be covered but there are many posts trees and benches within the Heath which could be postered as well. Kentish Town is PLASTERED after yesterday.Last edited: 2017-10-30 20:27:21 by .

Emma sounds super! I'm sure today is the day with some many doggy people about!
Doglost is it possible to update the main poster to have the most reacent sighting on it? 9pm 28th October at Heysham lane near west Heath. I am not admin so can't do x
.
we covered a vast area this morning from tennis courts / Kentish Town rd side right across to the Men's Bathing Pond and down to the track across Parliament Hill, zig zagging back and forth across as many different paths as we could. The people we stopped had already heard about Dizzee. The area was full of people walking their dogs or exercising. We went along the perimeter by the track along to Gospel Oak and back along past running track and playground areas then back to the tennis courts, around 8k. No sign of her. We did not cover the car park area or West Heath as the owner had been up there since 5am today. Lots of black Labradors but none without a collar and all with people. The area is full of like minded doggy people who would hopefully notice a stray Labrador and know what to do next. I only had 10 posters with me and have put some up but think the area could do with far more on benches and posts within the Heath, the exits seem to be well covered. Owner is very anxious that people do not call Dizzee and frighten her. We saw a ranger who now has. poster in the vehicle [although there were dozens bombing about the Heath today] - I felt confident that if she became visible today that someone would know about her. Crossing everything now. Come on DIZZEE!Last edited: 2017-10-29 12:37:03 by .
.
On way to search again now. Owner has asked please - if anyone sees Dizzee please don't call Dizzee if you see her - please carry treats, phone the second she is seen and quietly follow. Thank you everyone Last edited: 2017-10-29 21:00:49 by .

Ps I've run out of printer ink. I just put one poster up in Branch La at entrance to the small Heath that the lady mentioned. That West Heath area could do with quite a few more. We did drive back past tennis courts and to the car park just in case she was around that area. We did scan a vast area in the car tonight but this was just streets and not The Heath itself.
.
We've driven up there and spent more than an hour trawling all the streets in and around that area with no sighting. We parked up and walked across the small Heath mentioned here using torches and gently calling her name but nothing. I think too much time had passed by the time we got there. Maybe renewed search at first light but I'm not sure the best place to start now. We need a fresh clue from Dizzee. I hope she has snuggled down somewhere now and is resting. Let's see what 2mrw brings.
DogLostLottie @ Muddy Paws-Area volunteer North London.
**sighting** 9pm on Heysham Lane going towards branch hill this is near West Heath.

Original message below
Hi
My name is Debbie and I live on Spedan close Nw3 7 XF , my son saw your dog while walking our dog tonight around 9pm ( just seen FB massage and couldn't believe we had just seen this dog ) and our neighbor commented that a black lab was on its own . It was near the children's playarea in Heysham lane but run off towards branch hill . He could be near the small Heath area along branch hill as thus is where he headed . We will look again tomorrow . Hope you find him.

.
Hi nicolapicola - the owner was there form 5am this morning, all afternoon and I know she is def going back tonight to try and be there at the same time the dog was seen last night. She's hoping she will come to same area at same time. Fingers crossed everyone x

Good work Emma!!! Sounds like a very productive day!!
My mum has contacted buses to ask drivers to look out. I'm not in London now till Monday so I can't come out looking but hopefully sightings will come in soon!!
nicolapicola
Well done, Freddie. It would be good if someone could cover area near station/pub at around 9.00 pm as she was seen at that time before. It isn't always the nicest place to be at night though, from personal memory. Unfortunately I live over the other side of London now.
.
Forgot to say I've also carried on tweeting as much as possible in the hope that it will reach someone who may have info. There was an Arsenal home game today and so I tweeted all relevant people / the club etc to ask for their fans to look out for Dizzee - did get some retweets from that so it was worth a try, just in case. Every snippet of info = part of the jigsaw
.
I've been all around the Kentish Town area near the pub for a good few hours this afternoon, met with owner to discuss best places to look. Put up about 50 posters, scoured the area down the High St to Nando's, back of shops and back streets on both sides, went down by railway opposite the station where there can be seen a dog shaped hole under the fence which looks to me like it might be where she has come through. The dog walking lady was there waiting in her car with chicken. I sat with binoculars on a high pillar on the railway bride and scanned the track and all the bushes to either side and could not see anything. I got as close to the fence as I could to see if she was sheltering in bushes. Of course I did not call her near the railway in case she is safely sheltering, we don't know which side that might be. I walked up past The Forum past Southampton Arms to the tennis courts where she had been seen on Weds and did a circuit into Parliament Fields. As I went along the main road I went into the industrial areas close to the track to see if I could see anything, no sign. I checked bushes, gardens and parks along the way but no sign. I've postered everywhere I could, covering an area of about 10k including back streets, churches, the Police Station. If she is anywhere in this area, I'm really hopeful that the posters will trigger someones memory and they will contact the owner. I know not to spook her if I saw her and would have contacted the owner straight away if there was a sighting, but nothing :-((. I felt disheartened to come home after the positive sighting I was really hopeful, not giving up on you though Dizzee, Come on, we all want you home safely now. Please show your nose so we can help you x
DogLostLottie @ Muddy Paws-Area volunteer North London.
*UPDATE* there was a sighting of Dizzee by a lady who said she saw Dizzee by The Assembly house pub at Kentish Town last night at around 9pm. She said she looked lost and was looking around at people so not just bolting through, maybe had come out for food. Kentish Town was full of people last night so hopefully she will do the same tonight and we will hear of more sightings. Frances Dizzees owner got the call just half an hour after the sighting which is great but unfortunately there was no sign of her when they arrived. We stayed out till early morn searching mainly around the Heath by gospel oak in cases she go back to the Heath for safety. Frances has been out since early hours and is putting more posters up today and doing a Hoover trail from Kentish Town to her flat where she will have her bed and food outside the gates to the flat. Really hoping today will be the day and maybe as weekend more people walking for sightings and people have more time to report sightings. COME ON DIZZEE!!
DogLostLottie @ Muddy Paws-Area volunteer North London.
Thank you to Freddie12 (Emma) and her husband for driving down to help poster last night. Such fab efforts. The areas now I believe are quite thoroughly postered. I believe that owner left car in Heath carpark last night with food and blanket to entice Dizzee but with no luck. I haven't heard of any sightings come through yet which is very frustrating. Wondering whether she has gotten stuck in someone's garden or a builders yard and can't get out hence no sightings. Is there anyone with search dogs that could help? If anyone has any contacts please comment!
DogLostLottie @ Muddy Paws-Area volunteer North London.
Thanks Freddie12 - sounds like you are doing an awesome social media job. Wish we had heard of a sighting. The posters I put up last night have been rained on so I'm going out tonight with laminated versions.
.
I'm trying to support using Twitter @thedogfinder, I'm tweeting everyone I can find in the Primrose Hill, Camden, Regents Park, Kentish Town areas. Trying to get a few celeb retweets to get the word out there. Will keep checking on here for the latest news. Fingers crossed for some sightings of her soon

Thanks all for ideas and comments. I believe there was a tracker dog yesterday who tracked particularly around Chalk Farm primrose hill and near Regent's Park. Dizzees owner Frances says she doesn't take Dizzee to the Heath but runs from her address (Caledonian square off the Camden road) to Regent's Park so Dizzee knows this route well. I have posted particularly around bottom of Heath by gospel oak station and bus stops, Caledonian Road station, Highgate, Belsize Park. On my way to Heath now so will poster at Kenwood entrance. Thinks Frances was out most of the night last night. Hopefully we will start hearing sightings from yesterday now there are lots of posters up. Frances has postered around Caledonian Road , Camden, Chalk Farm and Kentish Town. Anyone with experience of labs going missing know whether they tend to travel all day and night or stay low and travel at certain times of the day?

Hi - I have put details on London underground yammer social media
.
Forgive me if you have already done this, but here are the contact numbers for dog wardens - I am guessing this would come under Camden? I'm just sending this in case you haven't thought of it already. Cover all the bases.http://www.animalwardens.co.uk/lost-found-dogs-search/all-dog-warden-phone-numbers
Also, you can report your missing dog to Camden online, so you may wish to do this too if you haven't already done so -https://www.camden.gov.uk/ccm/content/contacts/council-contacts/environment/contact-stray-dog-service/
I really do have everything crossed for you that she will be home safe and sound soon

I've heard of the wee thing for a trail - someone said soak a sock in your urine and attach it to a stick which you drag behind you making the trail back to your home or the car or a place where she knows. Fingers crossed.

Lottie, I have responded to your question about railway tracks on our North London Facebook page. But for the benefit of others, this was what I said:

For members of the public, they need to call Network Rail's 24 hour emergency helpline: 03457 11 41 41. DogLost co-ordinators are usually able to contact the local control centre and arrange for a mobile operations manager to check the track. At no time should a member of the public access the lines.

This is not an area where a drone can help.

I'm not sure if I'm correct in thinking the owners live the Camden side of Heath but it does look like she has made an attempt to get home- so wondering whether owners wee trails would be a good idea - either from around tennis court sighting to owners car parked up somewhere outside or trails around the owners house incase she is getting close but then can't quite find her way.

Maybe worth contacting Drone SAR for lost dogs - a community of drone owners who can help to search. They are on Facebook. I have tweeted Thames link rail but no further sightings have been reported on tracks. Let's hope she is back around the Heath somewhere!

I'm sharing on Twitter from my @thedogfinder account, have also posted on Facebook to as many Hampstead related places that I can think of. Try contacting the Park Rangers on the Heath if you haven't already as they are very good bombing around on their buggies - they will keep a sharp eye out . I'll keep sharing and hope for news soon Last edited: 2017-10-25 09:50:26 by .
