- Presume ALL outbuildings were checked including empty houses, and cellars? He may still be in the area being fed by someone else. It does happen quite a bit. If possible wipe his scent as near to the fields where he went missing up to the house, such as lamp posts gates etc, and put his unwashed blanket into a clean container, with your scent too. If there is a mire dominant cat in the area, they will sometimes chase a cat out of it`s own territory. However the cat usually returns after few days. When darkness falls take a look around the area, using a strong torch as the light will reflect a cats eyes. Poster around the area, and put flyers through doors too. And ask families as children can be very observant Maybe an ad in a National newspaper in case he has jumped into a vehicle. Paws xd.Last edited: 2017-09-25 20:25:47
