A pair of French bulldogs have gone missing from their family in Bexleyheath and the owners are desperate to get them back to get 'back to reality'.

Pinot and Moet were let into the garden by their owner Danny Peal in Stanhope Road last Thursday, August 17.

Danny said he left them in the garden, but they did not come back as they usually do when he called them.

He said: "I called and I whistled, but I couldn't hear anything. I just had a feeling something wasn't right, so I ran out with no shoes on or anything, climbing fences looking for them. I assumed they had been taken then.

"Now, I don't know if they have been taken or they escaped. A woman posted on Facebook that she saw two lovely French bulldogs chasing each other down the street at the end of ours, so I just don't know.

"I just want them back."

Danny, a truck driver, said he has put 50 posters up around Bexley and his partner Jessie Quee, has been posting on social media to raise awareness.

A £5,000 reward is being offered by Danny for the return of the dogs, who are only one and a half and two years old.

He said: "It really has affected my kids. I only see them at weekends and the dogs were part of our routine, we went to the park and played football with them and they calmed my son down. They keep asking when they will be back, and it is really hard to answer.

"Realistically, this is for my kids to get them back to reality."

Jessie posted in the Facebook page Bexleyheath News and Gossip: "Please can you dig deep to your heart, do the right thing, kids devastated and family torn apart, i can buy dogs again but it doesn't fix things, I am offering £5,000.00 for them back."

Good luck hope they are found soon x
