Did anyone watch 'My weapon is a dog' on bbc3 tonight?  Had me in tears (sadness as well as anger) there some really irresponsible dog owners out there it really makes me mad! Anyway me being me I have contacted Rickie Haywood Williams the presenter of the programme to see if he could help with our story any publicity is a bonus! Fingers crossed he can help us even if it's just a radio shout or something.  Every little helps  :)  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

1 year today since these gorgeous babies were stolen. Bluestaffs, their owner, is still desperately trying to find her dogs who were stolen in an armed robbery. These pups and also Rizla, their dad, are still missing. I know everyday gone by in the past year Bluestaffs has been looking and working so hard to find them......please if you are able to help at all, it would be much appreciated. If you are reading this and think you may have, in good faith, bought one of these pups in the last year, do get in touch. Possibly around the Chingford/Enfield areas. Have a look at Bluestaff's slide show via her post below, that shows all the pups markings really well. The important thing for Bluestaffs is to find out where these pups are, and like the recent pup 'found' within the last week, if they are settled and happy in a nice home then that is fantastic and Bluestaffs will be happy with that, and relieved to know they are safe.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

So pleased to hear that you have found another puppy and it has a loving home, I watched the video with a lump in my throat, the dogs and puppies are gorgeous and the music was lovely, I hope that you can locate dad and the other puppies soon.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

That's great bluestaffs, really good slide slow. :-) So pleased for you that you have found another of the pups and that she is settled enjoying life in a nice home - with genuine people who selflessly made the call to you, allowing you to have peace of mind as to where the 'pup' is. Lets hope its not long now before Dad and the other babies are back. You have worked so hard, you certainly deserve that outcome. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

This is really wonderful news. I bet she's grown into a beautiful girl. And as the others have already said, what a kind family they must be to have risked loosing their obviously much loved Staffie. I'm certain you made the right decision; well done for that and now wish her and her new family many happy times together.

Bluestaffs, this is fantastic news after all this time.  Well done to the new owner for contacting you, wishing them lots of happiness in the future together.   You have done the right thing in not uprooting her but at least you now know where she is.  Good luck with finding the rest of the litter.  Jan x Multi photo updated and reloaded.  Have reloaded individual photo of second reunited puppy into the Image 2 box, would have been great to see how she has grown up.   Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

wonderful to hear that this baby has been found after all this time and that you are happy to leave her with her new owners where she is obviously happy. They must be really nice people to have got in touch with you when they must have known that they risked losing an obviously much loved dog. Would be lovely if the same could happen with the others. Fingers crossed! Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi All
I have some great news! Another puppy has been found, puppy top row 3rd along, the runt from our litter has been found. Her owner contacted us after seeing one of our website appeals! Glad to see they actually came to some use! We visited her today and she seems very happy where she is, for this reason we are leaving her with the lady who has her. It seems selfish to uproot her when she has a good life and a family who love her very much. We are content in just knowing our babies are safe and hope she has a long and healthy life.
We are very grateful to the lady who has her for coming forward and contacting us as we all know she could have just kept quiet and not said anything.
Fingers crossed more are to follow, no one can imagine the feelings that we experience when we find one of our babies!
Regards

e are very disappointed with the London Tonight report they seem to have picked at the story only from an angle that suited them and no picture of Rizla was shown. A picture of mum and the puppies was shown but this was of no use as she is already home and the pups will be unrecognisable from the picture that was shown. We are greatful they aired our story but wish they had shown the picture as promised, this is heartbreaking that we have fought so hard to get the story on there and yet it will not do much good as there was no pictures. There was also no mention of doglost which is also disappointing, they're commenting on how people have no point of contact or no one that is interested when these issues arise. This was there opportunity to give out doglost details and advise viewers that we can give them advise and help with these dog issues. Very disappointed we had faith in London Tonight helping us and thought they were trying to help resolve this issue and get these dogs that are stolen possibly for dog fighting back to their loving home but obviously its just a story for them and they are only interested in the information that interests them. We hope London Tonight can make amends for what they have done. I feel like we have just been used!  Don't worry babies mummy will keep up the search and never give up! xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

No news on these yet. Blue pups being offered for sale in Jollyes, crews Hill, Enfield (correct spelling as others are spelling it Jollies, cruise hill enfield, obviously dont do their homework!) are registered pups.  Have informed owner not to give out to much information to those who do not need it. We following up some leads at the moment.   Local press have been informed.  Owners have stated to concentrate more on getting Navy and Rizla (mum and dad) home and that anybody who has bought one of the pups in good faith and are providing a good home for it are welcome to keep the pup. they will even hand over the registered paperwork for the pup in return for some information on where they got the pup from.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
