Thanks Joan I have sent text & PM
Has anyone telephoned or texted the owners to be sure they follow up this sighting promptly?
Please see https://www.facebook.com/groups/940604632693591/permalink/2569006813186690?sfns=mo
Eye witness believes this to be the same dog. DogLost Berkshire and Wiltshire now aware.
Is there any updates on the post below this one?
There was a dog which looked like the second photo running down the lane on 23rd May looked like it had been straying a while as very thin. Lots of people trying to catch the dog but very scared. Stopped when it heard my dogs bark as seemed to calm it but then ran on. A vet was trying to catch it. It was on the lane which links Grittleton with the B4039 Gibb Hill under the motorway bridge. Wasn’t close enough to see if male or female.
Taz fb page .....'Find Taz Missing Salisbury Plain' is still open and functioning despite the earlier comment that it was closing on 1st November 2018.
Hopefully Helen will get Tazi back oneday xLast edited: 2019-05-20 17:53:13 by Dee

Is this dog still lost? I have sent a photo of a Saluki dog that is currently being shared on facebook as found to the mobile number on this post. I haven't heard back. Dog is very similar but quite emaciated. Last edited: 2018-12-17 13:57:09 by jo

Yes, was taken to walk in car so been back morning and evening. Left blanket at site and urine
If he is walked to where he runs owners must stay up at night to ensure
he has access to the house, if taken by car they must return to the spot.

  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact investigations@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (114670)

  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
