Still no sign of dina at our shelter, the contact number for newcastle dog and cat shelter is (0191 215 0435) although i will keep a look out at this shelter. This shelter takes in strays from the northumberland area including Morpeth. We also have a sister shelter right in the centre of Newcastle which takes in the strays from the newcastle area and south of the tyne which could be worth a try, they are on (0191 232 2878) There is brysons which is an animal refuge that also take in strays around gateshead area maybe a bit far out from morpeth area but it could be worth a try they are on (0191 487 5858) Also there is an RSPCA branch west farm kennels in ponteland not far from morpeth which may take in strays that could be useful they are on (01661 822586). Also a rescue near to berwick, Berwick animal rescue they are on (01289 306 299). The berwick and gateshead rescue are a little further away from area where dina went missing from just thought they might be useful if she has wandered quite a way from home. Hope these come of some use to owners. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sian_Louise, thanks greatly appreciated. Brilliant when someone can visually check for dogs in rescues. If you know of any rescues in any areas for owners to try we would be most gratefully if you could post contact details on the dogs page. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spoken to owner and they will ask their relative to resend a photo a.s.a.p. and to post an update for helpers. Do keep checking Dina's page on a regular basis and keep us updated. Good luck and you are doing the right things. Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Tried ringing owner no answer. Maybe a photo could be taken into a photo shop who will be able to scan and then email to admin@doglost.co.uk. If anyone can ring the owner and suggest this please do, as I will be tied up until much later this evening. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
