I postered a few of the local shops last week but it could be worth getting some laminated or put into plastic wallets and put around the Phoenix Park. There are loads of dog walkers up there everyday and quite a few drive to the area.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I spoke to the owner of Molly tonight. There has been no word or sighting of her since she was last seen by the allotments at Thurnscoe. It seems that the lady that reported the sighting by the allotments was approached by a boy who had found her asking if she knew who the dog belonged to. Then later the lady saw the posters about Molly but when she contacted the boy he said he had let the dog go again when he could'nt find who she belonged to ! This was the last sighting of Molly. They have postered, contacted police, pounds, vets, rescues and dog wardens. In case of the worse possible reason for Molly dissapearing I have also suggested they contact the railnetwork as apparently they have a railtrack nearby and also emphasised the need to keep postering and also checking with pounds etc The other two dogs that went missing at the same time were both renunited with the owners but were found in different areas so the dogs did'nt stay together for long when they ran off. The poor owners are devasted at losing little Molly and do wonder if she may have been taken in locally as she is a very friendly little dog and loves children She was wearing a red woven collar when she was lost and is in fact 12 months old and not 12 years as stated above. Will mail admin to get this alteredLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

As soon as Admin receives a photograph, the poster will be emailed out to helpers. Posters need to be displayed as soon as possible on notice boards, lamp posts, entrances to parks, dog bins and on cars. Take posters to vets, pet shops, libraries, postmen (for sorting offices), milkmen, dustmen, street cleaners, taxi drivers, schools, pubs, youth clubs, newsagents, post offices, takeaways, dog training clubs, supermarkets and car parks. Hand out reduced-down posters or cards to people - especially dog walkers - and deliver to houses and businesses. Police stations, Dog Wardens, the RSPCA and all rescue centres need checking frequently and preferably visited in person by owner or someone who knows Molly well. xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
