Today the people /person who posted the vile photos of a dead dog to the owner of missing Charlie , (which turned out to be a puppet from a film) is in court .I hope this will put a warning to anyone else who deems fit to post vile photos to owners or indeed try and blackmail them , that they will be found and prosecuted .Sadly Charlie is still missing but everyone still looks out for him

one found 6/1/17 straying Titmore lane woods, Worthing. On Adur & worthing Councils facebook page. Described as being underweight and coat in poor condition but was wagging his tail pleased to have been found. Says no chip found and no collar but today ive heard of another dog that was chipped but dog warden scanned and no chip! With dog warden 01903 221064 office hours

Any local helpers i would suggest to check around the water source ( i can see from google earth there is a big lake) Look for paw prints on the edge signs of a place secure with flatten grass. Best time to search dawn and dusk. I hope posters are around this area as a popular place for dog walkers si they are ideal to look out for Charlie- if made aware by poster. Maybe need to ask persission from the reserve first- car park entrances a good place to start.Maybe helper Daxie who seems to be local could find out if able to poster the reserve??

To any one that saw the sick photo being posted on facebook i can 100% verify it is not charlie but taken from Stephen Kings book Desperation!!
quite easy to find if you use google but not easy for a distressed owner getting such texts and images while desperate to find their missing dog.
Thanks Baydog I had already verified with owners this was from the internet.
I have asked for updates after their appt. tomorrow. In meantime lets keep on searching!

The image used by these sick people has been taken from A Stephen King Movie. I can provide a link if necessary.
This was definitely NOT their dog Charlie.

I wish I could but am to far away in Kent. Beagles are notoriously difficult to catch hold of and hope that Charlie is still loose trying to find his way home to you. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time

Charlies owner is being sent abusive messages via moblie saying they are going to kill her dog plus sending graphic posts I will not put on here .Hence to say the Police are involved.We need to help her she is so upset

• If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
• A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (105794)
• Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
• You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
