Many thanks to all who turned out to help with the postering today and passing handouts to dog walkers - sadly no more reported sightings, but a much larger area postered and much better awareness with local dog walkers.

All crossed it brings more sightings of Coco soon. x

kellie, great there has been sightings. It is important that the Scenting Instructions are read a few times to digest what to do and how to act if you see her. Please ensure you are marking any sightings on a map to see if they are forming a triangle.

She will be scared and even run away from anyone she knows, they need to take the gentle approach and give her time to realise who it is. Smelly food like pilchards is very good and easily digestible for her.

Posters in the area are the key to getting sightings a.s.a.p. so you can get to the area. Good luck. x
skippy
Thanks for posting AnnieSparky - plotting and scenting instructions have already been sent to Coco's owner. x
AnnieSparky
Poor Coco, hope shes found and home safely very soon. Maybe doing some scenting from where she has been seen to her home would help here. The doglost co-ordinators can email advice about this to you I think xx

Thanks Natural Pet Centre and Miss Marple - I have passed your information onto Coco's owner and asked for an update.
Miss Marple
I wonder? http://www.wirral.gov.uk/wirraldogs/Detail.asp?DogsID=7496
Miss Marple
Strange that there isn't an update from the owner or, informant. I wonder if it has indeed been found and that the owner is perhaps unable to update online?

A comment from 1 of our customers after we posted on our facebook page:
"I'm Pretty sure I saw this dog yesterday. Running in the road by co-op rock ferry. I stopped 2 community police officers and told them and they started to walk back towards it. Was bout 9 am yesterday x"

I have been in contact with Coco's owners this evening - info and advice emailed. Coco is about 8 months old and went missing from home.

There has been a possible sighting of COCO being picked up and put into a BLUE CORSA earlier today and a second possible sighting in Woodchurch this evening.

Please share and look out for Coco. ThanksLast edited: 2013-01-03 00:34:54 by skippy

Owner posted Coco on my fb page and I advised to register her on DL. I'll update her page and photo a.s.a.p. Have given owner the link to the Wirral Pound to keep checking in case she is handed in and to also register her on their site as missing. x
