A member of the public has just rung in a sighting. Although it was yesterday around 2ish, she said Elly was still wearing her coat and trotting along near her house. She didn't take a lot of notice as she sees people with greyhounds off lead walking regularly, and thought Elly was a greyhound.
Given the description, it is within half a mile of the park, on the new and not finished estate so Kate is on her way there now.
At least now we know that she is going to trot along that roadway again. Kings Copse Close, along from Heath house lane.

OK - noted. Am just checking in to print off posters. We are heading off to equestrian places in the Botley area this morning at 11am - and will give them posters. Will also be walking our Lurcher over Manor Farm in the afternoon. I will update all the facebook sites I cross=posted to yesterday as well.

Huge thanks to you all. I am not local but if you are can you contact as many local dog training clubs as you can to pass the message to members. I think the search is now going into the bordering housing estate as she was possibly seen there yesterday afternoon. A search team is there again today. Please take the two top numbers with you, first mine, SLR Admin, and second Kate, Adopter. Plenty of scent is being laid and she knows the dogs that are being taken up there as she frequently walks with them.

Please try and get some scenting down in the area Elly was lost in, it will keep her in that same area hopefully. Dogs will normally come back to area they were lost from. Good luck with the search.

I have shared Elly's poster on as many local dog groomers walls who are on Facebook - also a local canine hydrotherapy centre (Doggypaddle) and Longacres Feeds (nr Botley) and a dog walking service I use (also Southempton based). My friend stables her horse backing onto Manor Farm - and she will be keeping her eyes peeled when she rides over Manor Farm tomorrow.

Really sorry to hear about your dog Elly. I will print off the poster for you and put in Hound Road, Netley tomorrow when I walk my dogs for other dog walkers to view. If any consulation the same happened to my collie in Victoria Park a year ago. He was 10 months old and chased off by a rotweiler. I found him next morning, went out as soon as it was daylight. Where abouts in Manor Farm did you lose her? Contact Warren Ave. Dog Kennels on : 02380 510065, to report this. She may get handed in to them if found. Good luck xx

I have posted her doglost poster on the manor farm facebook page, I have also messaged Pinkmead Farm which is a local riding stables and asked they pass the details onto their riders and clients. I have messaged a friend who used to live in Brook Lane, where one of the entrances to Manor Farm comes out and asked her to share with local people she knows. There are a few smaller stables in the area that it may be worth getting posters to so their riders who use the country park can keep an eye out.

Thanks for that sorry about that. She was a very special puppy that I birthed when her mum came in heavily pregnant to the Rescue. She is special..x There are quite a few SOUTHERN LURCHER helpers there now, but no sign of Elly. All Vets, Dog Wardens, Holding kennels in the area have been informed. She is on SLR facebook and cross-posted.
