Hi Everyone

Brilliant news Daisy has been found. She was found in one of the Industrial Units, but she was in the middle of some fences and they couldn't get at her. She shot off again and they followed her and she ended up in the small lake near to their house, so they fished her out. She is now being vet checked, very shaken up but okay.

It's strange how they stay very close to the area where they have escaped from.

Thanks everyone for all your help
BaileyP
Thanks for sending the email alerts out further. As she is very nervous and doesn't know the area she may be trying to find her way home so could be out of the area she was lost in.

If owners are on here - where was her old home? Could she be trying to run back there? Does her original owner know she's lost?

Daisy had only had a two mile radius of posters so now sent to a ten mile radius

We have been out this morning with two of our shelties. Put a poster up at a country park in the area, where there are lots of dog walkers,
then went on to Salmon Fields, into the wooded area with the dogs and my wellies on so that I could get in amongst the brambles and search, but we didn't find any signs of Daisy (you would think that there would be fur caught in the brambles). The woods stretch for miles, you would need an army to do a complete search. Coming out of the woods we met a man who was looking for two Staffies that he'd lost in the area I'm glad we didn't meet up with them and hope Daisy doesn't.

We then went to the top of Salmon Fields where she was last seen and crossed the main road and put posters in that area (photos of area attached).
We then went to try and get to the top end of the woods and found a rugby club. We went in and asked the barman if we could put posters up and he said that he had seen Daisy the first day that she went missing. He was shutting the big gates when she came flying through and ran down past the pub towards Salmon Fields again. Two Ladies drove up in a car and said that she had nearly got knocked down. He said that she looked very disheveled, but a postman had said he had seen her at the opposite end probably Monday morning. The last sighting was at the top of Salmon Fields, last Monday night.

We have been told to go and speak to a man who has an electrical shop in the area as he walks his dog all round there every day, so we will do that next.

We then called in Pets at Home and put a poster up there.

This is the worst area you could lose any dog.

Are there any helpers in the area who could lend a hand looking for Daisy or putting posters up? X

The postman saw Daisy at 5:30 this morning heading towards Shaw in Oldham. Owners went straight over there but could not find her. They have put up posters in the area.
