Great news, just had a message - Mac is home :) His owner has found him in Manchester Dogs Home. He is a little under weight and feeling down but with lots of TLC I'm sure he will be back to his old self - WELCOME HOME MAC x

Spoke to owner earlier, she was on her way to Manchester Dogs Home. She has tried sending a photo via her phone but it didn't work, she will try later via a pc. Have got her email to send advice later. They have spoken to the finder of 30971.

spoke to owners mum t time apparently a girl not far away picked up cavvy and reported to dog warden and dog warden took it. owner spoke to d/w and said doesnt sound like their dog advise go to dogs home to be sure, bit odd really. owner didnt know about the one on found site here?

Have checked areas are within 10 miles or so - distinctly possible then.

Sounds very like the one found -photos in cases like this would be a great help. Not sure how near these areas are.
