Thanks for all the help to try to find Brandy. I was in contact with Kay as soon as Brandy went missing and gave her the advice which she has been following.
Hopefully because Brandy is microchipped she'll be home soon. Barbara x

Hi, I did speak to Kay this morning as I'm in CF32 but unfortunately not able to help today. I'm involved with a local rescue and we had an unsocialised dog lost earlier this year who 'escaped' whilst coming onto rescue. Apart from contacting the usual places ie pounds, dog wardens, Dog's Trust, Police, local radio etc,we also alerted local farmers, and in our case this proved most constructive as a couple of them phoned me with sightings.
However, our biggest results by far came from leafleting doors, asking people to check their gardens / report possible sightings etc.
We didn't have a clue as to where our girl had gone but within 5 minutes of posting the first leaflet, we had a phone call about our girl. The person said she had noticed the dog because she hadn't seen her about before, but didn't realise she was lost. Though we weren't able to catch our girl at that time as she was unsocialised, on the whole we were able to keep track of her whereabouts thanks to the local community who were so responsive and supportive due to the lealfets posted through their doors.
Fingers crossed that Brandy is soon home with Kay.x

Hi, just to let you know, I'm in Cf71 but didn't get an email - I have signed up for alerts. I will definitely do what I can to help, great news that she's microchipped.

Still no news on Brandy. We've put posters everywhere and contacted all the vets, rescues and pounds. So fingers crosssed someone will hand her in. She is microchipped too. She was chipped by the rescue we had her from so she will go back there. They are aware. Thanks everyone x
