He disappeared on 22nd April 2016, and despite searching everywhere we were unable to find him On Monday I was clearing a large bush, in my back garden, that had died when I discovered his remains . It would appear that he had crawled to the back of the bush, and died . Whilst heart broken that he was dead, there was a sense of relief that he had not suffered ......

Thank you Charlie and sooty lets hope not, oddly enough I have just read that there are more Foxes in urban area's then in the countryside so probably unlikely that Minstrel was taken by a fox fingers crossed that he will be home safe soon X

Charlie and sooty I was thinking a fox could easily get up on the wall and over it. I have a fox that jumps on the bin then onto the garage roof to gain access to my back garden so yes it maybe worth asking owner if Foxes are in the area .Hopefully Minstrel is too big and that theory can be ruled out .

Hi Rose.. I asked the same question on a f/b page and this is reply....No idea at all ., He has access to my back garden, which is in front of a field . Side entrance to the house is locked, and I have the only key . There is no way he could get out of the front of the house . The only way that somebody could have taken him is by going around my neighbors side entrance, and climbing over his back wall . checked all the fences, at the rear of my property, and there is no way that he could get out . Checked all the hedges, garage and outside sheds . Even taken up the decking, at the rear of my kitchen . It's an absolute mystery.....
