Thanks Tracy, I think we have covered most of those. Posters up (will be replacing as they are getting a bit weathered) neighbours informed, with notes through doors too. Highways have not had any reports, vets aware, celia Hammond, blue cross aware. Can't remember if we have done Cat call but I will check that thanks/ We have walked all along the roadsides checking hedges. It is as if he just disappeared into thin air as nobody seems to have seen a thing.

So sorry to hear Gabriel is still missing, I'm sure you have tried all of the following, have neighbours checked all garages, sheds, outbuildings. Is there anywhere he could of got trapped in ? Have you asked Celia Hammond & Blue Cross if they have heard anything..
Cat Call in Hastings have a lost and found register.
I guess it is possible a neighbour could if taken him in and be feeding him?
Have you checked all hedges etc along road in case he was involved in an RTA...
I'm sure you have covered all of things, fingers crossed for some good news very soon .. x

AS well as tempting him with food such as Tuna, and leaving something outside with his scent on etc. Wipe his scent on all your garden fences (inside, and out), and gates too. He is neutered so peobably not gone too far. Early days yet, and someone may be feeding him Try this too; with door wide open. open a TIN of cat food, as the solund of the opener, and smell of the food may helpo bring him back. Working for Doglost all outbuildings will have been searched. Check behind hedges/bushes too in case he has been injured. Is there a "New kid on the block"? as sometimes a strange cat will frighten your cat away. Thouigh they do tend to come back eventually. Paws xd.

She may have just gone too far and got lost (I had a cat who did this when he was just over a year old...he came home after I called him at 3.30am...think the lack of other noise meant he could hear me)...advice from Pet Alert
Cats can be lost at just 50 meters from the house, they can't see well, things at 6 meters from them are blurry, that's why they can easily get lost and not necesarly far from their home.

Most of the time cats are lost within a circle of 250 / 300 meters from their house. They live in a world of known smells and sounds, when they get lost, they lose the known smells (because of the rain or because they just went too far) so the common method is to call the cat at night (the sounds goes further at night) every 15 or 20 minutes, during 5 minutes, repeat the process about 6 times per night.

Your voice must be loud and clear, you can do that for days or weeks, she might hear you but not move the first night, the second night notice where the voice come from and try to focus on your voice to get reoriented, she can be weak so it's important to insist and be patient .

You can either call from your house without moving or from outside the circle to the center (your house) while walking/driving so that your cat follow your voice to the center.

You have to call her every night, at the same hours, so she can hear you and understand.

You can also let water and food in the garden for her and maybe spread her dirty litter around the house.
