It would be a 400mile round trip for him to drive there, and they may not still be at the address. We have rung all the vets, the dog warden and a rescue centre in the area.It would seem that it would not be possible for anyone to be able to go to the address. To be honest it would be unfair to ask people to do that, especially if there were any problems. The owner feels that as the other peke was found wandering, and it was purely by sheer luck that it appeared in a national paper and he happenened to read it, then maybe Esme has been passed on too,or advertised for sale. He is just hoping that someone may have seen her, know about her, anything! Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

If the owner of Esme has the address of the pet home could they not just turn up without prior warning? or the dog warden could call on the home. Just a thought!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Oh dear! What can be done by those of us who are not in the area? I can help with any emailing but at the opposite end of the country. Poor dog, my sister has Pekinese and they do need regular attention. I do hope she is found soon and gets the care she needs. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Just a bit of background information on Esme. She was retired to a pet home with another retired Pekingese. The other dog has since turned up in rescue and was found by the dog warden in quite a state.Obviously owner has concerns for the welfare of Esme, and would like to locate her. They have written to the owner and had no response. Please keep a look-out for her.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
