just in case, please could the owner look at this photo at Leigh Dogs and Cats Home. Doesn't say when picked up (from St Helens area apparently) but this kennel do rehome at the first opportunity so they're usually gone after the 7 days. http://www.leighdogsandcatshome.co.uk/lost-dog-information/stray-dog-procedures/#jp-carousel-796

Just been into Manchester Dogs home and they had a little female stray Yorkie. It was behind the counter in reception having a bit of company for the day. She was elderly with hardly any teeth. It was the Harpurhey branch. Worth giving them a call x

THANKS a MILLION to the Liverpool Echo there has been good results in the past when they are done a cover story. Fingers crossed it brings some news and we see many more pets REUNITED back with their families.

JulieMac Can't quite understand that reply from Knowsley Council. What do they do with the dogs 'found' in their area, maybe worth asking which kennels they use to house their strays.

Sorry to see that Lulu is still missing. Please get found Lulu, as your owners are desperately worried about you. All xd.Last edited: 2015-11-15 21:07:33

Still looking - can't believe it's been more than a week and there's been absolutely no sign. I am fearing the worst unfortunately. Manchester Dogs Home have been particularly helpful - I got a tip off that they had a Yorkie going in, but unfortunately it was a 14 year old male Yorkie.
JulieMac
Thanks to all for their ongoing support, prayers and searching. She continues to be missing - I just had a call from Knowsley Council - although she went missing in Liverpool's jurisdiction, there's no harm in closing off every avenue. My heart leapt thinking she'd been found, only to be told they were only interested in dogs missing in their area and to refer me to Liverpool (which has already been done!) I explained the rationale that someone could have taken her and left her in Knowsley. The authorities have been less than helpful I have to say.

Jayelle. Maybe a good idea for Jenny, and Tiger as you say. Hope she is reunited soon. Can there be a search party for her?
Jaycey
Really hoping we hear some good news soon about little Lulu ♥xx

I also wish I was nearer to you so that I could help, but unfortunately, too far away. I will pray for little Lulu so that she may be kept safe, wherever she is, until she is found. God bless you and all of your helpers. Xxx

praying for miracle for this sweet girl
Jaycey
Aww bless her...Due to her age couldn't the local TV news team be contacted so they can make an appeal tonight or even tomorrow. .bet there would be hundreds of people out looking for her and spreading the word....Really hoping she is being looked after by someone who doesn't know you have to advise Dog Warden or take her to vets. ..Fingers and toes are crossed for good news xxx
JulieMac
Just another update for all of you amazing people who have been rooting for me - and wearing out shoe leather searching as well....Unfortunately my little girl still hasn't been found or handed in. I appreciate the positive thoughts from everyone, but I know my little dog and believe that if she hasn't made it out of the words, then the cold will have claimed her. The woods have been searched extensively by numerous people - but more importantly my husband who is so meticulous and thorough. He's searched numerous fox holes for any evidence of Lu. I know she'd stick to a pathway. My only hope is she made it out of the woods and the little minx is blissfully unaware of all the fuss and is curled up in the warm on someone's lap who's decided to keep her (that is until she decides to wake them up at 2am, 3am and 4am for a wee!!)I've informed countless agencies and all you lovely people have been sharing and searching. Thank you so much for all you have done and continue to do. I wish I could meet every single one of you and buy you a drink! xxx
