So sorry you've lost your friend, our saluki was out for 4 days a few weeks ago. Make sure you've some high value treats on you, I had some cooked and chopped up sausages! Get plenty of posters up, this really helped in our case as she covered so much ground. Fingers crossed for you.

Niki- please try not to panic, I know its difficult. They are extremely resourceful & wary which stops them been caught easily. Try using your clothes & some smelly food - garlic chicken sardines in tomato sauce to a sheltered place to eat, also leave water. Does he have a doggy friend? use that too. I have a saluki that was out 9 months in total & only 18mth old approx. when we caught her. Use same place to feed- preferably where you can monitor it, then ask for help - we can use traps - its how I caught mine, but it has to be on their terms - unless they decide to stop messing around & allow you to catch them.
