Thanks Marky_H
I have put your tel number as the 1st one .. would you like me to take either of the other 2 off? If so, please let me know which one! Thanks.
Sorry the found husky was not Beau. It does seem rather strange that you have not had any sighngs.
Have you got lots and lots of posters up in your and the surrounding areas? This is the way that sightings come in .. whether recent or in days past. If you have any suspicions that someone has taken Beau then it is really important to make him too hot to handle, as Rose says. This again, means literally flooding the area with posters. There can never, ever be enough of them.
If someone 'well meaning' has taken Beau in and not reported doing so to the Dog Wardens then they are breaking the law, intentionally or not. If you have posters up then there is no excuse for them not to report finding him to the Dog Wardens (and/or police)
I have been away recently so am not sure if anyone sent you our Doglost advice. Perhaps you would let me know as I can send it to you if you have not had it already.
It's also very important to keep checking with all the local dog rescue centres and rehoming places as, unfortunately, not all scan found dogs for microchips.
It's worth emailing them with a photo of Beau so that they are aware that he is still missing.
Try to stay positive and best of luck with your search.
Rose
Have u thought to contact a local or national paper as there have been no sightings? Someone must know where he is. Has a neighbour recently got a doggy like this? Must make him TOO HOT TO HANDLE x

Thanks Marky_H.
Please would you confirm that is the telephone number for Beau's owner as we seem to have 3 on here now. Also let me know if you want any of them removed. Thanks.

Beau is on Brighton Dogwatch Fbk page and this comment was put on the post on Sunday evening:
"someone found a husky in stonecross road moulsecoomb" Worth following up but no more info given .. would suggest you contact Brighton Dog Wardens to see if it is Beau. Good luck Last edited: 2015-09-29 01:40:48 by Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex

Sorry to see that BEAU is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (92571)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
