Could you get the owners of Buster to have a look at my found dog's photo as they would probably recognise him if it was him ?
Jules
I would think he could probably be 7+, but if he's had a rough life he may well look a lot older than what he is. I do keep looking at Busters photo and his body shape does correspond with our dog, very flat footed and similar body shape and coat. The only reservation I do have is the white blaze down our found dogs face around by his nose looks a bit narrow on one side ??

Hi Jules, According to this pups poster he went missing on on Wednesday, 4th April 2007 so would be comming on 4 years old by now. How old would you think the dog that you found is?

Hi, I posted the found collie on the national pet register. He is also on this website. He is obviously looking a lot older than the photo so it's difficult to imagine what he would look like now, but it was 7 years ago! If you'd like to give me a call my number is 01840 230353. Julie

I know this is a long shot after all this time but there is a found collie on http://www.nationalpetregister.org/fp/27645.htm seems to have very similar markings.

Hi I spoke to Busters owner last week as she does not have easy access to a computer and let her know about the messages from doglost helpers (there was 23 before the problem last week, about 16 seem to have been d). She is not having much luck getting Busters story into a local newspaper, is there any additional help out there to help her with this? Karen GLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I posted this before the crash - there is an unknown Border Collie in Barnsley of the right sort of age on the petsearch website - might be worth a phone call to see if they have found out the sex yet it is at a vets - has been chipped but no details - it could have been chipped after the date he went missing.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

As soon as admin receive a photo posters need to be put up in the area a.s.a.p. lamposts, entrances to parks, vets, petshops, ask postie, milkmen, binmen, schools, pubs, dog training clubs and deliver to houses etc. Handout smaller posters to people, especially dog walkers. Put A4 poster in car windows. Check Police stations and Dog Warden. RSPCA and rescue centres need checking regularly and preferably visited in person, by owner or someone who knows Buster. xx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I will print off a poster and put it in my car when one is posted. If you have not got a photo can we have a description, I walk my dogs all around the poole area and will be able to look out for him. KarenLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
