I don't think Jake was the dog I saw in S E Shropshire but will watch out for it appearing again and get a closer look. ChrisLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Is there a photo on the way? I saw a spitz type dog being walked near where I live in South East Shropshire a few days ago (can't remember which day though). I was puzzling over the breed as it looked a bit like a rather discoloured Samoyed, but not quite. ChrisLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Jake lives on a small holding and has never wandered in the last 10 years, so his disappearance is a bit of a mystery, there is a lot of bog land behind the farm but the owner has looked and has been unable to find him there, if there are any helpers in that area, could they help with posters, many thanks BCLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

As soon as picture is put on site and posters are emailed to helpers they need to be put up in the area a.s.a.p. lamposts, entrances to parks, vets, dog training clubs, petshops, schools, deliver to houses etc. Ask postie, milkmen and binmen to lookout. Handout smaller posters to people, especially dog walkers. Put A4 poster in car windows. rescue centres need checking regularly and preferably visited in person, by owner or someone who knows Jake.
