Wonderful news. GillyP - well done for putting Roxy's details on DL to draw our attention to her situation. It's SO lovely to see her little smiley face now that she's back home. Really good to hear that SDK agreed to reduce the fee but really, REALLY hoping that precious Roxy is going to get that nice, new, shiney ID tag as a welcome home present. I've recently replaced Dexter's ID tag after he'd worn his for 7 years. It was from an online company called Pettags.co.uk. and the tags are very good quality. I chose the so-called De-Luxe tag which are well worth the extra couple of pounds as it has a reinforced hole. Also a very nice company to deal with. But finally, welcome home Roxy and please stay close and safe in future!

Had confirmation from owner that ROXY is on her way home!!! SDK reduced the fee and she was able to collect. Phew. Thanks everyone for their kind support. Just registered an old boy on found who was found on the 24th and only just been put on SDK site. Please share him. xxxxx

Could the owner of this dog leave something of value like a piece of jewellery (as security) at the kennels when she collects the dog and then pay them off weekly. Otherwise the bill is going to go up and up until it will be impossible to collect the poor dog because the payment will be totally out of reach of the owner. Then what will happen? Will they rehome this poor old dog or maybe put her to sleep? It makes sense to me to make some kind of a deal and ASAP!

Kennels charge £17.50 per day plus fee of £70.00! She was picked up Saturday. Trying to find out whether owners were informed she was picked up via chip. Thanks everyone. Will keep you posted.

They certainly are. Mine LOVES kids but my cousins bringing her kids to my mums tomorrow where he goes everyday but made other arrangements as it would be kid skittles as he gets so excited but a seven stone staff x mastiff and a small child is too much. SDK not contacted owner again so will have to wait till tomorrow.

I only work part time on a pittance per hour (!) but I'm happy to make a donation to get this lovely old girl home. I don't 'do' PayPal but can send a cheque to someone or pay via Direct Debit. So pleased to hear that this lovely Staffie girl will be reunited with her owner (presumably tomorrow) cos she looks so sad. I just love Staffies, especially the oldies, although never owned one (so far!). My friend adopted a gorgeous brindle and white Staffie boy and he's absolutely adorable. He was found alone in an empty flooded flat and now he resides in a beautiful detached house and lives life of Riley!
