Man who claimed this was his dog has now seen her and she wasn't his. He is still looking for his missing red Staffie cross. She went missing on 13th July near Wormwood Scrubs. She is bigger than a normal Staff and has a black nose. Last edited: 2015-08-28 12:14:08 by Beezle

Very sad if this dog really did belong to the man but hopefully she will find a good home soon and not end up in kennels waiting with all the other thousands of Staffordshire Bull Terriers:-( Another truly good reason for making the minimal effort and paying the (sometimes free ) small charge to get your dog MICROCHIPPED. Good luck now, little girl ... I hope you make it xxx

Sounds as though he didn`t want this dog anyway

No chip Niki. He had so many chances but just kept stalling. Dog warden did so much to help him. SDK say went for homing so have to take their word.

Was he definitely owner via microchip Gilly? Just looks a lot like Jinji http://www.doglost.co.uk/dog-blog.php?dogId=77773#.VcznTIrLcVB.mailto

Rose. I absolutely agree with all you say. But it is odd that the dog was found 40 miles away, and the owner would not comply with the rules of ownership. Doesn`t add up. Hpee you soon get your forever home. Paws xd.Last edited: 2015-08-13 22:34:48

This made me very sad. Very expensive to lose a dog when it lands up in a pound. Perhaps we should all keep our dogs on leads or at least let them run in a confined space where they cannot escape. She looks in very good condition and sure she will get a home very soon. x

Long story, but the guy who claims to be the owner said she went missing from White City but was found 40 miles away. He didn't comply to the councils requests for proof of ownership etc and therefore the dog went for rehoming. He simply took too long. Good luck girly.Last edited: 2015-08-13 16:01:40

On a wild goose chase at the moment
DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.
Owner says the council was helpful in the first week but have now stated that 7 days are up and they cannot help anymore. owner is a Mr Moore and his number is 07449 734662 he has mobility problems and does not have a laptop..and he says his dog is his best friend...

Status has no reunited banner. There is usually a pick up charge anywhere between £70 and £100 then approximately £17-20 per day thereafter. Each council SDK deal with charge differently. On hold to SDK.Last edited: 2015-08-13 14:02:43

Right I am on it!

I know some fees can be £70 per day so I hope this can be sorted out, the dog needs to be with the home she knows really :-( If there is proof of the agreement in an email or phone text then I would suggest contacting the local council as I thought it was them who contracted the dog-collection work to SDK. If they are not doing the job properly then the council need to know.

Owner has just rung and needs some help...he contacted SDK within the 7days to claim his dog but could not afford the fees SDK Nedded for release they said they would come up with a payment plan but despite owner being in touch they have now told him the dog is up for rehoming...so he enquired today to see if he could rehome it and was told the dog had gone back to its owner? will copy this into GillyP to see if she can check the status of this dog on their website..Have the owners contact details if anyone can help/advise him further just call or email HQ. tx
