This has been the longest couple of weeks of our lives! A huge thank you to EVERYONE who has helped in any way - by postering, searching, spreading the word, following Jack's story and supporting all of us during this roller coaster of a journey. The little blighter is now safe with one of our foster mums from Spaniel Aid UK. He's a bit smelly, full of burrs, a bit thin but he is SAFE xx

Peter
The stream from Mill Lane Pickworth goes eventually towards the A15 but deviates south toward Folkingham, there are woods there , it then goes under the road on Billingborough Rd, Folkingham, (poster on telegraph pole nearby), follows valley bottom as you would expect and heads toward Billingborough, Birthorpe, etc crosses Mareham Lane (where I put a poster on Friday) but Pickworth to Folkingham stretch might not be walkable at this time of year, a horserider might be more successful. Just a thought if Jack is following the stream from Pickworth.
Lin Iddon
Peter between Pickworth and Walcot. No sightings yesterday, people out looking. Laura and Nicola were there last night and will be back this morning. Just waiting for an update.
Peter

Stay safe Jack until we find you x
Lin Iddon
Owner now postering Braceby, Little Humby, Great Humby, Haceby, paying particular interest in areas near the stream/river.
Lin Iddon
just heard of another sighting of him in Pickworth. have called the spotter and left msg to ring me asp......Laura on her way to Pickworth. June can you or have you done the villages north of you??
Peter
We already knew about the beagle at Folkingham as the shop keeper rang us with contact details for the person who picked him up. I have put up loads of posters in Folkingham and talked to loads of people too, but still no reports of a spaniel. Was the Osbournby sighting definitely a spaniel or was it also the beagle. I have postered Osbournby. June (Dogs Lost has Peter as the contact, I am his wife and doing the postering as I have good local knowledge of the area.)I have also postered Sapperton, Pickworth, Ropsley, and have put a poster on the southern part of Mareham Lane down towards Aslackby, but then I got asked to go to out to Osbournby. Where next please
Lin Iddon
Looks like the dog at the shop was a beagle!! cctv checked

Great news! bumping!

We now have 2 sightings both reported to and confirmed by the Police. A dog matching Jack's description was seen on Sunday at at 19.48 on Theckingham side of A52 and also on TUESDAY at 07.28 at the roundabout at the junction of the A15 and A52. We have also just received a call about a woman in the area asking in local shops if anyone knew who the spaniel she had on a lead belonged to. This is really positive and we are following up!! Fingers crossed folks, trying not to get too excited but things are a bit more positive now
Unknown
Report in that a lady was seen in Folkingham, on either Tuesday or Wednesday evening, asking whether anyone knew the owner of a spaniel that she had on a lead. There is some uncertainty regarding the colour of the dog but Laura is currently at the village shop checking CCTV footage. If anyone knows who this lady could have been would they please get in touchLast edited: 2015-07-03 13:36:22

this dog was found yesterday https://www.facebook.com/LostAndFoundSpaniels/photos/a.701336523222042.1073741826.493861757302854/1012840598738298/?type=1
Michelle
Iam in a few villages away from Ingoldsby.
Have had a drive around and seen someone has put posters up surrounding Ingoldsby. Will have a drive out in a bit and put some posters up nearer Osbournby x
Lin Iddon
owner has postered as follows:

I have postered Threckingham and started to do Billingborough intending to do Horbling, Osbournby and onwards towards Boston, but Laura said there had been sighting in last 2 days at Folkingham and to saturate the village with posters which I have just come back from, run out now so will need to do more. Spoken to loads of people in that village, handed out posters to farm workers, tractor driver, walkers and dog walkers etc, shop again etc as well as plasterinjg posters around, but no one has actually seen him so don’t at the moment know where Laura got the info from re Folkingham sighting, as I didn’t take the call. Not sure whether to target villages as in my original plan now or not.

June

It is not true to say no-one knew he was missing, police and SKDC dog warden department were informed by 9 am Sat 27 June, all local area - farmers, shepherds, dog walkers, neighbours, kennels etc etc were notified on Saturday/Sunday, many people alerted in area of radius approx. 6 miles, with no sightings.
Lin Iddon
Possible sighting on A52 near the A15 roundabout at Osbournby, Lincs on Sunday 28th June. The powers of social media!!! Heading towards Boston. If anyone can poster or offer any help it would be very much appreciated. Please update on here.
Lin Iddon
This boy now has a huge social media campaign on the go, posters are going up in the NG33 area, vets and dog warden informed, local kennels, walking groups, local hunt, groomers. Just cannot believe in 6 days now no sightings but i suppose until this morning no-one knew he was missing....... lets hope the phones start ringing now.

Red Alert
Please see link https://www.facebook.com/spanielaiduk/photos/pcb.568453426627948/568453379961286/?type=1&theater This states that according to PetLog Jack was scanned at a vets in the area! As this is possibly theft by finding the owner should ask the Police for a crime reference number this will then mean that the Police can access this information from PetLogLast edited: 2015-07-02 12:05:54 by Red Alert
