Hi Dawn. I remember Boston. It doesn't seem possible it is nearly two years since he went missing. Never say never Dawn. If he is microchipped you could get him back ant time, but lets hope that until then he is warm, loved, and happy somewhere. Bless you Boston, you are dearly missed, and it would be fantastic to get you home. Will bump you nearer the exact date x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Two years on since Boston went missing so we know we wont see him again. We still think of hiom and miss him. We still find it strange that nobody came forward or saw or heard nothing after that first week in local area.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Boston, a copy of your poster is also now in a plastic folder at my local vets surgery on a table for clients to peruse, (TA8 Somerset). People do travel and hopefully anything that we can do to bring you home has to be worh a try. Hang on in there Boston, it's your time for the blue zone, we are having a good success rate in the South West so please show yourself. You will be home soon, we don't give up. Sorry that I hadn't picked up on Boston earlier. There are just so many beautiful boys and girls out there just waiting to be reunited with their owners. I am trying to work my way through the never ending list. Posters now printed and will be circulated in the TA8 area. Yet again Boston can not have just disappeared into thin air, someone must have seen him, and maybe not realised that he is reported as missing. Riding on the success of Buddy's return, let's turn up the heat on all of our South West dogs that are still missing. It's been a long time, but hang on in there Boston, we are looking for you. Can all Dog lost helpers who visit this page, please email a copy of Boston's poster, to all of their friends and family where ever they live in the UK. As we all know, missing dogs are not always found in the area in which they were lost. Thank you. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Don't give up hope, he is out there somewhere......have a look at the re-united page as there are some heart warming stories on there. Could you get together with Flash's and Gemma's owners and see if the local papers will run a story on these 3 dogs which are missing from a very close area? I know the Wilts Times have been helpful to you, but it would be so good to have a"can you get these dog home in time for Christmas" story on them? The Somerset Standard may help as well.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Good for you to try and get Boston in local paper. Please do not give up on him. He is out there waiting. Hurry home Boston darling in time for Christmas (make it that you Boston be their best ever Christmas present) and stay safe until you are found xxxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

No news still on Boston after 9 months. Still sadly missed. We have resigned ourselves to the fact that we wont see him again. If someone has him I hope they are looking after him. Concern over number of missing dogs in the area seems to be on the increase. We are going to see if we can get something in the local paper again nearer christmas in case someone knows anything more.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

7th May had a call from St Giles kennels in Taunton who kindly emailed some pictures of a dalmation that had been found. Sadly its not Boston. I hope his owners get him back soon. If any one knows of any other kennels I could try in Wiltshire & Somerset I would be grateful to hear from them. Thanks to the people that contacted me having looked at this web site. We have run two press stories in local papers regarding Boston and had one call which didnt lead to anything. I have contacted the local authorities again and Claverton Down dogs home. A very nice lady from dalmatian society has contacted me and put details on their website. Nothing more than that at the moment sadly. Posters are still out in local area. Thanks for your support Dawn Thansk for calls form Jayne and message left thsi week. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi all not sure if I can help at all as Boston as been missing a wee while now, I did see that write up in the Wiltshire Times and also the White Horse News. If the Family would like a had to do a search around the area where Boston went missing then I'd like to help, I have a few bits and bobs that might help with a search of the local area. My mobile number is 07780 651379 its a 24 hour number, as I say I don't know what to do. Come back home safe and well Boston. Tony.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Repost from Keelah: There is a lovely story in the paper today about boston - excellent coverage - well done owner. Let's hope this generates some calls and, please, keep us updated on sightings as we can all step in and try and get this gorgeous boy back. http://www.wiltshiretimes.co.uk/news/ latestheadlines/display.var.1320175.0.reward_to_find_missing_dog.phpLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Oh dear We have a dalmation! Definitely agree with Keelah Immediate massive publicity-has to be very distinctive and easily spotted (did not intend the pun) Fac he is castrated means no use for beeding but nice pedigree dog -make too hot to handle asap and consistently. Sorry too far away to be 'hands on' Hope he's home very soon. M xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Could this dog have got to basildon in essex, my daughter took my two staffs over our park yesterday and had to come straight back as there was a dalmation (male) over there without an owner or collar or lead in tow, the dog kept approaching my male staff and my boys not good with other males so she came straight back, if i see him again, i will report it to our dog warden, or maybe he has been picked up by our dog warden, i walk the same route every day so i will see if hes back there tomorrow, just a long shot because where you are to where we are is a long long wayLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Owner has been contacted via pm by me and urged to do a press release - large, spotty (very spotty) dog wagging a long wonky tail??? I defy anyone not to notice and remember seeing such a pup!!! Have asked owner to contact local paper immediately. it needs to go in paper by midday monday to stand a chance of getting in next week's edition. I will help when I can next week but am swamped today with press releeases (and the day job) to do!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

As soon as admin receive a photo posters need to be put up in the area a.s.a.p. lamposts, entrances to parks, vets, petshops, ask postie, milkmen, binmen (even put poster on bins), schools, deliver to houses etc. Handout smaller posters to people, especially dog walkers. Put A4 poster in car windows. Check Police stations and Dog Warden. RSPCA and rescue centres need checking regularly and preferably visited in person, by owner or someone who knows Boston. xx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
