Wonderful news. .Poor Poppy must have been so confused and frightened living with travellers..They go round in their vans collecting scrap metal. ..and will take anything they see if it will make them money..I would've done exactly the same as Poppys owner to get my precious baby back..but I bet the b******s that took her will do this continuesly hoping for substantial reward offers..The Police should trace the call and arrest the scum bag!..Stay safe Poppy..and enjoy the love and cuddles you so deserve ♥ xx

Great to hear Poppy is home!.....Karma means those who took her will have their day to answer....let's hope the reward gives them nothing but grief....to put the owner through what must have been a very scary situation is unforgivable xx

Lovely reunited photo on FB, plus this comment GOOD NEWS!! Poppy is back home. Last night a man phoned saying they had her and wanted the £1000 reward. Arranged to meet - men in black balaclavas on quad bikes - recognised Poppy and handed over the money in desperation. Man said on phone they will never do this again to anyone. Too stressful cos dog was too 'hot'. Poppy is thin but so happy to be home. Thanks everyone for all the fantastic support. X

Poppy has now been found thanks to everyone for their help she had been stolen by travelling community who returned her for the reward.

Please help and be aware -my Mum's 1 year old cream Chihuahua female dog has been stolen from her garden on Wykeham Avenue, Guisborough this morning. A neighbour saw a white scrap van passing and a man walking towards their garden minutes later before Poppy went missing. She is micro chipped and a substantial reward is offered for my daughters favourite dog...PLEASE SHARE and contact Lucy on 07584107582 or Lynda 07961 660783 with any information, much appreciated.
