Comments on Faiths FB page are saying Faith was sighted 30 mins ago in Quintonside area, a young man evidently chased her & finally caught her. need owner to confirm if this is true & she is finally home safe

Tiga & I were out Tuesday and yesterday and Tiga tracked lots of small loops some new and some old scent and he also tracked to a field where owner had not been but still very close and there were 2 more sightings last night in this field as well a further sighting this morning close to a previous sighting.
It will be a matter of patience and calm now for the owner who is sitting in these areas quietly.

aw bless her she must be so frightened ,good luck hope you get her today .has the owner thought of going out when noone is around and just sitting in the car park with the car doors open.? But it wont work if there are lots of people just a thought..I know you are probably sick of all the advice lol xx

Belinda has taken good advice from Owl and also Ray in view of this development. She asks if anyone out looking for Faith can finish their search by 6pm please so that she can try things suggested as Faith is very nervous

Update from owner..Faith was sighted yesterday morning still wearing her lead, but ran off.
Can anyone recommend a ground search dog???

Someone reported a dog whimpering in undergrowth last night near the Richmond care home, which is close to where we finished tracking on Tuesday. The person tried to search but could not get through nettles etc. Searchers are out now.

Yes, indeed. There is a temporary site and a small group were staying. Searchers spoke with them and gave them a poster, and they were very friendly and said they would watch out for Faith. They had 3 terriers there, all very fit. They have now moved on.

I noticed on facebook that there is a travellers site in the area that Whisper has covered, has anyone been along to ask if they have seen her? Maybe if the council have a liaison officer it might be worth asking if they could visit the site to ask.

That was us, and I can give a bit more detail. The trail did not go straight ahead into the fields, but swung right as if Faith was trying to get back to the car while avoiding the large open space in Grange Park where the big dog chased her when she ran off. This took us along narrow paths through woodlands and eventually down a steep path which came pout behind a factory. Then through an industrial estate and some very quiet residential estates, and out on to a main road with roundabout. Then into a green area with a stream, and fields with horses. This is where we got very fresh scent indeed. At this point Wispa was picking up air scent as well but she could not get a direct fix on it, and she was getting tired after a long session. Belinda has got the route we had taken on her smartphone and we saw that we had done most of a circle and were not far from the park. The crucial thing is that Wispa toook us to areas which have not been searched or postered, but which make complete sense when one looks at a satellite map.

Faith's owner had a tracker dog out today but sadly she still wasn't found. The dog picked up a scent but it took them in a circle. Hopefully this means Faith is still in the area. Belinda is going to put more posters up. x

lol - that was us and the dog was Maisie the Cairn Terrier. Owner has contacted us and we have given some advice - I would have gone to help but sadly am on Jury Service.

I remember reading about a small dog with lead still attached lost when owner fell and let go of lead. a wonderful doglost lady travelled miles with her tracker dog and the lost dog was found entangle round a clump of a bush almost exactly where it was lost.

please note~anyone searching the area: There is a pink lead tied near the dog bin. This is (thankfully) NOT Faith's. She is wearing a chain lead with black hand grip. x
