EXCELLENT NEWS YOU WILL NEVER GUESS WHAT- An hour ago my doorbell just rung and I came to the door to see my littlest Buddy sitting there? Absolute mystery I am over the moon. I reckon someone took him and as we made it too hot they returned him. Buddy is home safe- I cannot believe it! This wouldn't have happened without the help thank you so much.

It seems owner is 16 years old and says no adult will help her and doesn't have a printer. I am concerned because no sighting of Buddy (except a possible on the day missing) and we don't know if this was a hoax or not. It's very hard to get all the information we need, but we have to think of Buddy too and try and get him safe. It is very possible he was taken as he disappeared from the garden. I am also concerned as to who may have Buddy, if he's not still on the loose. I would suspect Buddy would come home if he could, as it sounds like that has happened in the past. So he either got out or was stolen. If anyone can spare a few minutes to print a couple of posters and put them up in the Newhall/Potter St/Old Harlow areas, it would be very appreciated. Thank you.

Emailed owner. Well done Hettie for getting Buddy on here. Read the advice I have sent and tick everything off, one by one as you do them. Call the council cleansing dept (they will be shut for the weekend but call 446666 and ask Kier if they know of any dogs found on the roads). Call Essex Highways and ask the same thing. If Buddy knows his way around he will try and get home, all dogs do. So we have to think of eveything that could have stopped him. Has someone picked him up? Poster the area like mad and make him too hot to handle, okay. He's not just going to disappear in the fields, he is going to stay where food and water are and try to get back. Unless someone has him or he can't get back for some other reason. Yes, he may hide out in the bushes in the shade, but someone should have seen him. So poster all over Newhall, Old Harlow shopping centre, by Mark Hall School, Church Langley Tesco and shop area. The bridleway and Potter Street shops. You really have to work at making him so famous, okay? Let's find your Buddy. x
