This one seems to have happened so quickly I missed it!  Glad he's home safely!  Also answered a question for me whether its safe to take my no-recall Timmy there - maybe not!  Welcome home handsome chap! x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Chester has just turned up where he went missing cold and a bit upset but the thought of missing his evening meal must have overcome him...he is on his way home now.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thought I recognised his photo when it flashed up.  Fingers crossed he is reunited as quick as he was last time.  Good luck.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks for putting this up so quickly.
Chester went missing from The Gogs, a place for public recreation and areas for 'safe' dog play.  Public just don't shut gates which give access to the wider landscape even though there are signs on each one.
Party of four still out looking but as it is getting dark the main gates will soon be shut.  Chester has a large heart shape on his left side which is a bit hard to see at first due to his shaggy coat. I know that he will be scared by now and we are all really worried about leaving him there overnight as it so cold.

Many thanks to Dog Lost and all the people who responded to Chester's capers! It is really impressive service which swung into action immediately. Chester was checked by the vet as he was bound in long sharp strings of the biggest bramble thorns ever seen! Once I had cut them out of his soaking, smelly coat he went like a crazy thing, as if his feet hurt. He must of trodden on the thorns but luckily he didn't have any embedded or puncture wounds. Just freaked himself out by going so far away from home!! Fence to be mended and Chester to remain on lead!!!! Thanks again Kerrie.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Brilliant news that Chester is back home with his family. Wish all dogs were moved into the blue so quickly. What is he off to the vets for or should we guess!!! Give him a big cuddle from all on doglost. Regards Jan xx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Owner is particularly worried because when Chester has escaped before he can usually be heard barking in one of the surrounding fields. This time there is nothing. Owner has contacted Police, RSPCA and local vets. South Cambs DC has no dog warden service, si I'm trying to find out what happens to lost dogs in the area.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
