- Marks & Scars Unknown - dog has been chained to the graveyard opposite my home, we went out to see it but it began barked and became quite violent - was pitch black so hard to see anything apart from size and breed of dog. Will be reporting to the dog warden as as soon

RSPCA contacted me on Twitter & asked if the dog was still there & to contact them
I will let them know what has happened.
I really hope this poor dog is o.k. & maybe with the Dog Warden x

- Spoken with the finder just now. She said that as she turned her back the dog had managed to wrench itself free and ran off down Middleton Road, Leeds dragging its lead. It hasn't been seen since. Finder left the post on here just in case there is somebody who has lost/stolen their dog.

- Surely you cant be serious about leaving a dog all night tied up waiting for the dog warden to open tomorrow morning! I would think that even if you phoned the police they would know who to contact in an emergency as the dog is contained. Do please speak to your police station as soon as possible.

- OMG! Poor thing, its no wonder it was going crazy. Sorry but there is no excuse for leaving a dog like this. Hopefully he/she will find a forever loving home x

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
