Thank you everyone for all of your help. It is with great sadness that I have to inform you that Harvey was found by a worker on the track at Huntingford. I had phoned them this morning and after searching the woods saw some workers on the bridge at Lower Wick and explained the we had lost our dog. They kindly looked up the track and found him about a mile away and brought him home. Good luck everyone else with your searches.

Have put Harvey's Doglost poster link onto lost and found pets Cam/Dursley and asked members to poster local areas. Does Harvey have a Facebook page? Judy x

We contacted network rail and the highways agency when poppy went missing so that's worth a try. My concern was that she could have wandered into the services and been picked up so could be any where now. I also remember shooting the day after she went missing and she looks like a fox or monk jack in the distance, someone was shooting everyday last week very near to you so would be good to find out if that was local farmer and if they saw anything? I hope he is found safe and well x

Thanks for the comments I have emailed the hunts the poster hopefully they will forward. He was in the garden with someone collecting the leaves then both him and our bullmastiff went out of sight,the person looking after him shouted for them and searched the garden and fields then drove up the lane and on to the roads to look for them. After about 10 mins my brother came home and helped with the search. After an hour the bullmastiff appeared back at home the search continued and then again at 9.30 searched again.
We have continued to search since and spread the word and started posters. I did not realise how close Poppy was to us probably 1/2 a mile. Fingers crossed for both of them and their safe return!

How was Harvey lost?
It is just that Poppy was stolen from the same area in April 2014 and I wonder if there are any similarities /connections....worth checking xx

Can someone contact the local hunts - Berkeley Hunt and Duke of Beaufort Hunt? Contact details are on internet. If you ask them they can contact (by email and on website) local landowners, gamekeepers and farmers thus covering a huge area very quickly. Email for secretary for Beaufort Hunt is caroline@chavenage.com - one of my cockers went missing near Tetbury last year and the hunt were brilliant! That's when the phones started ringing.... found him after 3 days. Good luck x

I am sorry your lad is missing and hope so much he will soon be home with you safe and sound.

We believe so much that its ground work that really helps (we just keep posatering for our girl all the time) so get as many as you can up all over the area. The higher the local profile he has the better.

I am too far to help with any of that but we also know social media is important too so will share him and tweet him as its all I can do. Will keep everything crossed xx
