A Yorkie has been found in Croydon - much longer hair but it has been seven months I suppose. It says he's not microchipped but I'd rather tell you just in case. Here's the link to the article anyway: http://www.croydonadvertiser.co.uk/BRIT-school-pupils-rescue-tiny-abandoned/story-27456573-detail/story.html

Emailed owner with advice. Well done everyone for supporting owner and Fuzzy. Please keep going. Think..... what would have stopped Fuzzy from getting back home??? Thank you everyone. Come on Fuzzy baby. xxx

I agree Jennyb. There is another property on their books just across the road that has been empty for a while also. Maybe someone could pop and check on both. He's been out a long time now without any sightings. Worrying! I'm happy to help on a more extensive search if owners want to do this.
Jennyb
I think it would be worth the owners asking Dedman to do a search of the empty property - the garden has several outbuildings and a swimming pool. Has anyone had any updates on Fuzzy?

Hi, Is there any progress on Fuzzy? I am happy to take part in an organised search or leafleting. My friend went looking today and I will take my dog out there too. Is there any area you would like to have searched?
Lynne Woolley
Any News? Do you need help with a search or leaflets? Been looking in back fields to the East of you and alerted others to his loss. Lynne

Just walked up Rebels Lane which is flooded so had to turn back. Anyone venturing up there will need wellies. No sign of him but plenty of people looking on foot and one elderly man in his car. Posters put up in the Rose Public house and they will spread the word. Hope that now the sun is shining, he will venture out and find his way home. Last edited: 2015-01-08 15:29:45 by Lynne Woolley

@Lynne To be honest I don't think he went far, I think he might have gone delusional when he went into the fields.. we have searched all the ditches across that field and theres no sign he fell or has been caught so he might have walked towards the road. He hasn't been hit by a car thankfully as we looked along side the roads and didn't see anything. Thanks again Lynne.
@Barney I don't think Fuzzy could make it that far, unless he hitched his way into `Cambridge. Thanks for your support

Just got back from walk across from Barling Road South to Barrow Hall road. No sign of him there. Spoke to someone who lives in Barrow Hall who says he saw a fox in the field earlier, but couldn't be sure it wasn't Fuzzy. He will keep an eye out as he overlooks that field. My dog only reacted on our way home and was quite stressed when passing the empty house for sale (Dedman Grey). He wanted to go in and was wimpering. Maybe you could have a look around there. Later I will walk to the golf course via Rebels Lane. Fingers crossed he turns up. Lynne

Probably too far away to be Fuzzy, but I've just read on facebook that a Yorkie boarded a train on it's own at Newmarket and was being cared for by station staff at Cambridge. Doesn't say what day this happened. Will try to copy the link here.

I'm not aware of the stables but I do know where the removal lorry parks. I'll be out there shortly to look. Was he running Northwards or south towards The Rose? Please let me know if Fuzzy turns up. It's awful out there. Hopefully, he has been taken in or found somewhere to shelter. Have you been to the Barn (horse vet) and looked/asked there yet?
Edan
Hi Lynne, thank you. It would have been by the Horse stables close to Rebels Lane. By the big Shift It Removals van. Hope that helps.

My garden backs on to the some of the fields. can you confirm if he was Wakering side or the golf club side. Happy to help with a search. Please keep me posted.

Thank you so much for all the help and support, it's so greatly appreciated! We've called our local council/Dog Warden and the Police and they directed us to Medivet. We're going to put up posters around the neighbourhood tomorrow morning. We've searched the fields many times - Fuzzy is an older dog and he hates the cold so it's very surprising that he went out for so long. Our best guess is that he wandered towards the roads around the houses and someone must have seen him wandering along side of the road and picked him up. Waiting to see if their are any updates in the morning.
Again, thank you so much for everyone involved with helping to find Fuzzy! It's so amazing to have such a great community.

Shared. Hopefully fuzzy is waiting for reunite in the morning and if not then a search can be organised.

shared on face book. Would be a good idea to poster everywhere around just in case someone has taken Fuzzy in and doesn't know what to do with him. Some people don't know about chips. Not sure which are your local vets but most have out of hours phone numbers might be worth ringing round. Also kennels. Paws crossed for you all x
