I've spoken to the dog warden today, who called the owners to get an update. He's left a message for them to call back, and will call me back as soon as he has some news - hopefully positive.

Yes, lots of memories of the beautiful Bagheera, hate to think of another one missing. Have just tried calling the number listed to see if there's any further news, but the 01926 number here is an office number, so nothing to report.

The photo is of my late Bagheera - she was nearly 13 when this photo was taken, so Lottie I guess will look a bit younger, but hope this helps for people who aren't familiar with flatcoats.

Any news on this girl? Constantly on my mind, especially when I look at my lovely Flatcoat girls, cant begin to think what you must be going through. Hope shes safe and home soon.

Hi I live in Ludgershall, nr Andover which is not too far from Winchester (around 20 miles I think). Will keep a lookout for a Flatcoat as they can cover quite a bit of ground in a few days. I will contact the local dog warden just in case and perhaps all local vets - hope that is ok Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help. From a fellow Flatcoat owner and lover REally hoping and praying that you find your beloved Lottie Jan.

Agree with doglover - my flatcoat retriever was often mistaken for a lab, and many people who see my Flatcoat sweatshirts etc ask what a flatcoat is. Jayne - could you post a 'similar dog' picture here to give people a clue?

Also too far away to help. I've notified people on the two flatcoat groups I'm on - I'm sure all local people will keep an eye out for her. Fingers crossed for a swift and safe return.
