message from owner
Today, Jenny has brought Yogi the beagle from Kent to track Molly. What an amazing generous lady and what a star beagle. It has been extraordinary watching Yogi work. We tracked for 5 hours, and he took us along a clear path from Horsley Woods, through the end of the Kingscote Valley (where there was a reported sighting on Christmas Eve) up to Hazlecote Farm, across the A46, towards Chavenage - right along the Calcot 'Trim Trail' and into the Calcot Hotel complex. Jenny thinks Molly is alive, and surviving on this trail, staying farm barns and picking up scraps (bird food, cat food, garbage) at the farm or hotel. I am going to go into the hotel tomorrow, and put up more posters along this tight area. Molly will be feral by now if she is still alive, so I have some tips on trying to attract her.
Everyone we met on our 5 hours walk (be aware Jenny a heptathlete, I am not) - runners, riders, walkers - had heard of Molly being missing. So thank you all for sharing, sharing, sharing - and putting up posters. Here are Yogi and Jenny working today, and Yogi in his one-sy which he always puts on after a walk!!!
So this week, as well as getting back to work, I'll be returning to this trail and seeing what I find.

Owner discovered today a possible sighting of Molly in Stroud town, 2 people were trying to catch her. I believe the sighting was near a bakery. Owner is still walking in area where Molly disappeared in case she does make her way back. Molly has her own Facebook page set up now and posters up everywhere possible especially where other people walk their dogs. Fi is feeling more positive today. Fingers crossed for more sightings as Molly is seen and shared on all the local community pages on Facebook.

owners of molly are in contact with the owners of denzil to find their dogs, no sightings of either dogs.
zen

Tereza
This is the same area where the GSP (dog ID 79749) went missing from and he still hasn’t been found
zen
molly ran off on a walk chasing a deer she has done this before but always come back, she knows the area well.. owners are out looking and are postering the area which is very rural, one possible sighting half a mile away, but person just saw something scurrying away in undergrowth could not be 100 per cent sure it was a dog...

Sorry to see that MOLLY is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (80180)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
