The circumstances surrounding the theft of this dog are very similar to that of Trixie 73929 and only a few miles apart , I wonder if it is the same culprit .

A young male lurcher has been found near Frome in Somerset today - circulating on various Facebook pages. Hard to tell from image of this missing one if they're the same but the one found today has very bad facial scarring and is emaciated. Link here to the lost and found dogs somerset page and he is the second post down on there at the moment. Being taken to vets later apparently to be checked for eye infection and chip https://www.facebook.com/groups/725949567485714/765008706913133/?comment_id=765063913574279&notif_t=likeLast edited: 2014-12-22 15:39:07 by rosiefrome

My daughter saw a dog that looked VERY like this dog this morning approx 9.30am as she walked to work. It came out of the woods and crossed the road into woods opposite, narrowly missed by a car. No owner in sight. She called and whistled but the dog disappeared. The dog was wearing a collar, she thinks black, it could have been male or female. Going into Brassets Wood, Cottage Lane, Westfield TN35 - unlikely to have made it from Pembury on it's own though so maybe it's a local dog (that we don't know) on a jolly! I have a broken ankle so was unable to take my dogs out for a look about. I will text this info to the mobile number listed above.
