natz...you have done a selfless act on behalf of your dog.....I rang you this morning and you were shocked...and delighted to at last have an outcome...the choice you have made is in your dogs best interest...at least you can sleep tonight knowing Skye is happy....what more can anyone say?

Thanks guys. Well it wasnt easy but After all like you said alikat new owners didn't know she was stolen, and I had an incling she was sold on but couldn't prove it, all I ever wanted for her was a loving home and not to be a breeding machine and new owners are having her spayed as we speak so they must want her for her and not the money she could make. I don't want to take her from the family that she's clearly bonded with. I just wish everyone on here could have the same happy outcome. Hopeing for so many more to be found :-) thanks everyone x

Wow Natz! That is a really lovely thing to do... letting Skye stay with her new family who, after all, didn't know her history. That must have been a hard decision after all the searching. As you say, she's safe and well - and obviously loved.

Back that shout! 100 times Weimlover! Debbie from vets get scanning who we helped reunite with her stolen dogs...has tirelessly campaigned for other missing dogs to be scanned along with Halo scanner...and us....Brilliant! lets all work together...But Debbie from Vets get scanning has been an absolute STAR! and deserves huge Brownie points....

this is such fabulpoous news - gives hope to sooo mnay other owners that 1 day their stolen/missing pets may be foud via a scanner .
Massive Shout out to the wonderful Vet for scanning - i have read reports/posts where Vets havent done so or not informed the 'real' owner that they have their Missing pet

absolutely delighted to get my phone call this morning. in all honesty i didnt think i would ever find her. shes been with a loving family, safe and well all this time she was sold on without my knowledge. thankyou for everyones help in finding her. its a massive weight lifted to know shes been safe and cared for. thanks again. im letting her stay with the owner that took her to the vets, he obviously loves her and is taking great care of her so happy smiles all round :-)

Have just informed owner Skye has been scanned by halo scanner and we have had a call from a vets in Sutton in Ashfield to say they have just scanned Skye who was brought into their vets with a man claiming to be the owner...owner is ringing the vets now. paws crossed!

She was taken from her garden in S42 5TN. Her pup was also out with her but wasnt taken. So I cant see her being taken for money or they would have taken pup as well.
