- Other Info : We have had a German Shepherd dog brought in to the surgery overnight after a road accident. The dog is a female and is not microchipped so we are looking to find an owner ASAP. She has sustained some injuries but is currently stable at the moment and is being looked after by our veterinary staff. She was picked up near a cafe in Toft Hill. - Gosh poor girl, I hope they can find her owners, I have posted her details to our bulletin board at Durham County Council in County Hall and will send her details out to a few people this morning hopefully someone will come forward, do we know how old the poor girl is, what will happen to her if the owners cannot be found, we can help to find her a home if need be xx

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
