I spoke to owner today and there is no further news of Scott. There was a possible sighting by one of the owners a few months ago but too far away to be certain. Scott could well be still living rough in the same area so please watch out for him.

We had a Norfolk meeting and produced a Norfolk Gallery of missing dogs which we are not going to give up on and reported on steps we would like to see in the future. An Inspector visited and is going to suggest future improvements for reporting between police stations in Norfolk

Just had a chat with owner to find out what is happening. No sightings for a while and then one last Thurs 7 Dec at the back of Conington Church. Owner has been taking Scott's brother out to do some scent-marking and he did lots where Scott was sighted and was very interested in the scents already present. Scott is able to hunt even if he hasn't lost the head collar by now, and he is probably surviving OK. Catching him could be difficult, but owner is hoping that he will come to his brother and mother.

Thanks Eddie, I have been very concerned that there were no sightings so relieved to hear your news. Collies on the run can be so hard to track down as we know, but they are so good at surviving and Welsh collies have a kind of all-round intelligence and common sense which goes in this boy's favour. Hope for more sightings, thanks to everyone helping with this one.

There has been a definate sighting. Near Sawtry on Sunday afternoon. Owners called to scene on Monday. Nothing found, but I for one will be looking out for him. Eddie

I'am Amazed Scott has not been found yet he is so distinctive .you would have thought some one would have taken to a vet with stitches in his leg fireworks are a nightmare its not just firework night but round here its bangs in the street any time of day for two weeks before & two weeks after you just don't know when they will go off THEY HAVE GO TO BE BANNED Jacky Blue & Kai's Mum

What a gorgeous boy Scott is. Hope he is found very quickly. Plaster the area with posters - he is very distinctive even without the surgical collar. I assume the owner has contacted all the local vets, as that is where I would imagine any sane person would take Scott to. Good luck and I hope he is on the 'blue' side very very quickly.

How many dogs have to be the vixtim of bl**dy firewworks before something is done about them??? I had to keep my three indoors with the tv on quite loud to prevent them from being too frightened. Hope Scott is safely home very soonxxx
